The Social Impact Film Festival is produced by Entertainment 2 Affect Change, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that connects award-winning content creators, mission-based organizations, and passionate funders who want to share their impact through the power of story.

Thanks to partnerships with agencies and organizations in entertainment and social impact, E2AC On Campus allows dedicated students from around the country to plan, organize, and activate the Social Impact Film Festival, from creating deliverables, conducting outreach, and accepting selections. Find out more at e2ac.org.

All submissions will be reviewed by our judges, many of whom are established in the film industry and will be providing thorough feedback.

Top films will be screened at our upcoming festival in Boston, highlighted on our website and social media page, and may also be streamed on E2AC+, our new Social Impact Streaming Channel, if desired.

The top film as voted on by the audience will be offered the opportunity to work with our organization on an impact campaign and be part of our campus impact screening tour each fall and spring at college campuses around the country.

I was proud to have my stop-motion short film, Love Has No Borders, selected as an Honorable Mention in this festival. Thank you for your kind words.

  • The festival organizers were so gracious. I missed the deadline but emailed them about the film and they were able to give me waiver to submit late. Even after we were officially selected and I had further questions about the process, I called and one of their team members actually knew my film and expressed his personal story with a similar subject to the film. That was really special and meant a lot. We’re honored to have been selected to this meaningful festival and to now be streaming on their site.

It was a true honor to screen COMMON AS RED HAIR at the Social Impact Film Festival. Because our film concerns human rights, we were especially thrilled to be at such a conscience raising festival!

  • Social Impact Film Festival takes on the burning questions of our time and asks filmmakers to postulate some sort of way forward. Their mandate to impact our world is seen in their respectful communication, their choice of films and even the way that they construct their online offerings in such a way that everyone can see the films. Kudoes to organizers and participants.
