From May 3rd to 7th, the Film-Makers' Cooperative is collaborating with Film at Lincoln Center to show a series of New York City-themed avant-garde films from our collection and beyond!

On Saturday, April 27th, at 7pm, join us at the FMC Screening Room (475 Park Avenue South, 6th Floor) for five films from the Coop's collection fusing experimental and narrative storytelling methods, curated by Jeremiah M. Carter and Sarah Viviana Valdez!

Join us at the Film-Makers' Cooperative (475 Park Avenue South, 6th Floor) on Friday, April 19th, at 7pm, to celebrate the release of THE RED THREAD: LARRY GOTTHEIM AND HIS FILMS, the first title from our new publishing imprint in collaboration with Eyewash Books!

For the eighth and final screening in our multi-program series FILMS FOR SOCIAL CHANGE: REVISITED AND EXPANDED, join us at the FMC Screening Room (475 Park Avenue South, 6th Floor) on April 17th, at 7pm, for the politically trenchant and deeply personal feature, SPEAKING DIRECTLY: SOME AMERICAN NOTES, made by artist, activist, and political prisoner Jon Jost.

For the seventh screening in our multi-program series FILMS FOR SOCIAL CHANGE: REVISITED AND EXPANDED, join us at the Maysles Documentary Center on April 12th, at 7pm, for two astounding documentaries chronicling the cultural climate and major sociopolitical events surrounding and following the 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago.
