Ryne Malone was inducted into the Florida High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2019 after an exceptional baseball career where he was one of the most decorated hitters in America.

The P.K. Yonge standout started on the varsity team as an eighth grader and at age 14 broke the school's single-season hits record. In his five years and 158-consecutive games played with the Blue Wave, he hit .545 with 28 home runs and 84 stolen bases (in 86 attempts). An All-State selection all five years (4 first team, 1 second team), he also set the state record with 265 hits and the national record with an astounding on-base percentage of .713. The two-time high school All-American led P.K. Yonge to two appearances in the FHSAA Final Four and was named the 2002 Class 2A Player of the Year.

After graduating from P.K. Yonge, Malone enrolled at Florida State University. While in Tallahassee, he led the Seminoles to the 2004 Atlantic Coast Conference Championship and back-to-back trips to the NCAA Super Regionals in 2004 and 2005 as an All-ACC selection. The 2004 freshman All-American was eventually named team captain in 2005 and 2006, before being chosen by the Chicago Cubs in the 2006 MLB Draft. Malone played professionally for three seasons.

Malone continues to give back to his state and his sport as the owner of PRO3 Sports Performance Training and co-founder of TNXL Academy. Malone resides in Orlando with his wife Haley, daughter Miller and son Brees.
