Objective
A WiNG controller can next-hop direct its one NSight protocol stream to one of (a) legacy NSight Server or (b) XCA or (c) XIQ. In this document the focus is on the XCA option (ExtremeCloud Appliance Statistics Proxy feature), for ultimate XMC (plus possibly NSight) destination. |
Environment

Procedure
The goal of these configurations is to accomplish XCA pass-through to XMC only (choose 2a below) or to a combination of XMC and NSight (choose 2b below). 1. On the WiNG controller, direct the NSight data stream to XCA using the following configuration: configure NSight Policy nsight-policy XCA server host <XCA_ipv4_address> https configure RF Domain rf-domain default use nsight-policy XCA 2. On the XCA, it may or may not be necessary to make any configuration changes. Use one of these two command combinations, depending on the situation: 2a. nsight-https disable (the default) nsight-addr -blank- (the default):
nsight-addr <nsight_ipv4_address>:
3. Validate that the configurations seem to be working:
