Newton’s Nook Designs April Release – Day 4 – Newton’s Bubble Tea and Puppy’s Bubble Tea Stamp Sets and coordinating Die Sets | Newton’s Nook Designs

Hello crafty friends! It’s almost the weekend and also the last day of reveals over at Newton’s Nook Designs. Today’s pair of stamps are the cutest and perfect for boba loving me! I’ll be sharing a CAS and rainbow card today showcasing the new Newton’s Bubble Tea and Puppy’s Bubble Tea Stamp Sets and their coordinating Die Sets.

As y’all might have noticed, I’ve really been into CAS cards these days, but I still do love a rainbow card, so I decided I would create both types of cards with very similar products to inspire both styles of card makers!

For the rainbow card, I started by ink blending in rainbow colors on an A2 card front, using the Bokeh Stencil Set. Next I colored the puppy from the Puppy’s Bubble Tea Stamp Set using copic markers, and die cut using the coordinating Die Set.

I kept the rest of the card very simple by adding the sentiment directly on the card front, adhering the colored image with some foam tape, and finishing off with some jewels.

For the second card, I used the same Bokeh Stencil Set, this time to dry emboss the card front instead of inking it up. I colored the larger image from the Newton’s Bubble Tea Stamp Set using copic markers, and die cut using the coordinating Die Set.

I finished off the card by stamping and embossing the sentiment from the same Newton’s Bubble Tea Stamp Set on to banners die cut from the Banner Trio Die Set. Before adhering the colored image to the card front, I trimmed and hide the ends of the banner behind the cat for a cleaner finish. As always I added some jewels to the card as a finishing touch!

Which card is more your style? Rainbow or CAS? Thanks for following along all week! Tomorrow is release day and till then, don’t forger to enter the giveaway! Enter to Win a $25 Prize!

Newton’s Nook Designs April Release – Day 3 – Cherry Blossoms Stamp Set and coordinating Die Set | Newton’s Nook Designs

Happy Wednesday Y’all! We made it half way through the week, and April reveal week continues today over at Newton’s Nook Designs and today’s stamp set is the perfect spring stamp set! Nothing screams spring like the new Cherry Blossoms Stamp Set and coordinating Die Set!

CAS card for the win! I loved this image so much that I didn’t want to take away from it! To create this card, I started by stamping the larger image from the new Cherry Blossoms Stamp Set and colored it using copic markers. I die cut it using the coordinating Die Set, and set it aside while I worked on the card front.

For the card front, I started by dry embossing it using the Petite Flowers Stencil. Next I die cut the A2 Card Layout Die Set from white cardstock and save the center stitched die cut. I stamped a sentiment on the stitched rectangle, and adhered it along with the frame to the embossed card front.

I finished off the card by adding the colored image along with a few matching jewels.

I hope you enjoyed today’s CAS card! Make sure to come by tomorrow for the last day of reveals! Now time for a giveaway! Enter to Win a $25 Prize!

Newton’s Nook Designs April Release – Day 2 – Floral Delights Stamp Set and coordinating Die Set | Newton’s Nook Designs

Happy Mon – oh wait it’s Tuesday! We just got back from spring break late on a Monday night, so today is going to be the Monday-est Tuesday! April reveal week continues today over at Newton’s Nook Designs and today’s stamp set has the perfect images to transition into spring crafting! Today we are showcasing the Floral Delights Stamp Set and coordinating Die Set.

I love gifting books, yes I know that you can get books at the library and on your Libby app, but a book is a book! I can spend hours in a book store without a care in the world! Unfortunately I can’t afford that much time these days! And with the books I gift, I love adding a handmade bookmark, so of course I was one the moon excited when Newton’s Nook Designs sent me the new Bookmark II Die Set and a floral stamp set that fits onto the book mark die perfectly!

To create the pair of bookmarks, I started by stamping both of the floral bunches from the Floral Delights Stamp Set along with 2 of the little butterflies, colored them with copic markers, and die cut them using the coordinating Die Set. I also die cut the bookmarks using the Bookmark II Die Set and the Pastel Basics Paper Pad.

To finish off the bookmarks, I stamped and embossed a sentiment from the Never Enough Books Stamp Set on to a circle die cut from the Frames Squared Die Set. I adhered it off set on to the bookmark, trimmed it off and added the colored floral images. I also added a little butterfly with some foam tape.

I hope you enjoyed these two similar but different bookmark projects, and don’t forget to come back again tomorrow for more reveals! Now time for a giveaways! Enter to Win a $25 Prize!

Newton’s Nook Designs April Release – Day 1 – Never Enough Books Stamp Set and coordinating Die Set, Bookmark II Die Set | Newton’s Nook Designs

Happy Monday! Welcome back to the first day of April reveal week over at Newton’s Nook Designs and after a busy week of spring break celebrating Eid, I am so excited to be here sharing a whole bunch of fun products! This release is filled with florals, books and boba, and I could not be more excited about it all! Today we are showcasing the Never Enough Books Stamp Set and coordinating Die Set, along with the Bookmark II Die Set.

I created a pair of cards, cause I wanted to use ALL the products! This stamp and stand alone die set are perfect for me as a book lover! I know they will be used again and again!

For my first card, I stamped all the images from the Never Enough Books Stamp Set and colored them using copic markers. I die cut them using the coordinating Die Set. I also used the Frames & Tags Die Set to cut a card front from Kraft paper and a frame from the Coffee House Stories Paper Pad.

I finished off the card by layering the larger die cuts, added the colored die cuts. Lastly, stamped a sentiment with brown ink, and added a few jewels.

For my second card, I went with CAS look, using a white background, and die cut multiple books from the Bookmark II Die Set and colored them using copic makers (you can also die cut them from colored card stock or pattern paper). I also die cut a coffee mug from the Coffee Silhouettes Die Set, and colored in to match with the books.

I used the Frames & Tags Die Set again to to cut a card front from white paper and a frame from blue card stock, and used them to assemble the card in a similar way to the first one, this time stamping a sentiment in one of the smaller openings.

I hope you enjoyed these two similar but different cards, and don’t forget to come back again tomorrow for more reveals! Now time for a giveaways! Enter to Win a $25 Prize!

Pretty Pink Posh

Holiday Coffee with Love | Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge

Hello crafty friends! As you may have noticed from my instagram, I love all things coffee, including coffee themed stamps! So of course I have to enter the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge, when ever I have the chance! I didn’t finish my card for January on time, but y’all loved it so much, I added an extra change for myself to create the same shaker card with monthly theme! And for February, I added a lot of pink and hearts!

To create this card,

I started with a piece of A2 for the card front, and an A2 card base. I die the mug from the Winter Mug Dies from Pretty Pink Posh for the shaker window, along with the hearts from the Valentine Mug Addition Dies. I stamped a sentiment from the Christmas Roundabout stamp set along the edge of the mug. Next, for the card front, I created a shaker box with acetate for the mug window and filled it with Valentine Hearts Clay Confetti. Lastly, I splattered the card front with some black paint.

For the back of the shaker, I stamped and embossed the heart banner image from the Love Borders Stamp Set, and ink blending over it using 2 shades of pink distress oxide ink.

I finished off the card by adding the card base to the card front, and adhering the heart die cut on the shaker window.

I’m off to start my card for this month’s Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge, and if you are inspired by the challenge or me to create, do tag me so I can see!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Pink Dragon Wishes | MFT Stamps

Good morning y’all! Just another day playing catch up on the blog while procastinating on all the things I need to do! Can’t believe that Eid is less than a week away! Between Ramadan and life in general, crafting time has been at a minimal, which means that I have been making a lot of CAS cards! This one was inspired by the Lunar New Year Challenge.

To create this card, I started by stamping castle from the Fairy-Tale Friendship stamp set using a light pink ink. Underneath it I stamped a sentiment from the Loony Stamp Set, from PopsiclesSticks.

Next, I stamped and colored the dragon from the same stamp set and die cut it using the coordinating dies. I added it to the card front and finished off with some coordinating jewels.

Thanks for stopping by today, I really appreciate it! If you’d like to see more behind the scenes, I share a lot on Instagram

Rainbow Christmas | Newton’s Nook Designs

Hello! Are we on a blogging streak? Is 3 days a streak? Well clearly I’m procastinating as my to do list is a mile long, but I’m here, typing up a blog that pretty much no one will read! Oh well, it is what it is!

Today’s card is inspired by my friends, Claire’s Christmas Card Challenge in March! The challenge prompt was to “rainbow”, so what better way to make a rainbow card then with some rainbow Christmas trees!

To create this card, I started by masking off the bottom 1/2 of the card front, more so I don’t get it inky, than anything else! Using the Christmas Tree Line Stencil from Newton;s Nook Designs, I inked up a row of rainbow trees using the distress oxides shown below.

I finished off the card by stamping a sentiment in black from the Heartfelt Holidays, and adding my new favorite touch, black paint splatters!

Eid Shaker Card | Altenew

Hello crafty friends! Another day, another Eid card! And hopefully I will get the chance to finish another set of cards today, after a baking session. So much to do, so little energy!

I created this card for a blog hop over on instagram, and the y’all loved it so much! Made my heart so full it be able to host a Eid card hop with a few friends! Finally getting a minute to come and post the card on the blog!

To create this card, I started by die cutting the solid die from the Mosaic Dome Die Set from an A2 card front. I stamped a sentiment from the Eid Greetings Stamp Set using black ink, and splatted some gold paint and set it aside to dry.

While the paint dried, I dry embossed the front of a card base using the Moroccan Mosaic Cover Die, and ink blended over it using a green and red ink. Lastly, I created a shaker window, filled it with sequins, and added the card front to finish of the card.

Thanks for stopping by today, I really appreciate it! If you’d like to see more behind the scenes, I share a lot on Instagram

CAS Eid Cards (no coloring!) | Altenew

Happy Sunday crafty friends! Popping in today to share a simple, easy to mass produce Eid card using some products from Altenew and inspired by their co-founder, Tasnim.

I made 10 of these card in just over an hour, so they are prefect for a last minute crafting project!

To create these, I started by die cutting the detailed die from the Mosaic Dome Die Set multiple times, 10 in my case from heavy weight white cardstock (you may need a shim depending on how old your cutting plates are.)

Next, I die cut the outline dome from colored cardstock. I used Gina K cardstock, but feel free to use what ever you have in your stash and color combination you like! I adhered the two layers of the dome, and set them aside.

I created 10 side folding card bases from craft paper and using one of the domes as a guide, I stamped a sentiment from Eid Greetings Stamp Set using black ink. Lastly, I adhered the domes to the card base to finish off the card.

Thanks for stopping by today, I really appreciate it! If you’d like to see more behind the scenes, I share a lot on Instagram
