David Toga-Pucheta, de 29 años, de New Buffalo, falleció inesperadamente el domingo 24 de diciembre de 2023 en su casa.

Se llevará a cabo un servicio de Celebración de la Vida a las 8:00 p.m. Martes 2 de enero de 2024 en Sommerfeld Chapel, 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI con el Sr. Erik Méndez de la congregación de los Testigos de Jehová oficiando. Los amigos pueden visitar a la familia el martes de 5:00 p.m. hasta la hora del servicio. David nació el 21 de marzo de 1994 en San Andrés Tuxtla, Veracruz, México, hijo de Ramon Toga y Pilar Pucheta-Ixtepan. David llegó a los Estados Unidos en 2010 y en los últimos años ha sido gerente de Rios Mexican Grill en New Buffalo y Michigan City. David amaba su trabajo y a sus compañeros de trabajo en Ríos. Le gustaba ampliar sus conocimientos y aprender cosas nuevas. Le encantaba divertirse y tenía pasatiempos como andar en bicicleta y probar nuevas actividades. David era conocido como un hombre trabajador, humilde, responsable y respetuoso que era más feliz con su familia y cuando ayudaba a los demás. Era un hijo, padre, hermano y compañero leal y todos los que lo conocieron y amaron lo extrañarán profundamente.

A David le sobreviven su hija Anna Sofi Toga-Mezo; sus padres Ramón y Pilar de Veracruz; sus hermanos Jeremías (Eustolia Temich-Ceba) Toga-Pucheta y Ramón Toga-Pucheta, ambos de New Buffalo; su mejor amiga Stephanie Salgado de LaPorte, IN; su tía María De Los Ángeles Pucheta-Ixtepan de New Buffalo; y todos sus amigos y compañeros de trabajo en Ríos.

David Toga-Pucheta, 29, of New Buffalo, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, December 24, 2023 at his home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Sommerfeld Chapel, 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI with Mr. Erik Mendez from the congregation of Jehovah Witnesses oofficiating. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until service time, also at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date in Veracruz, Mexico. David was born March 21, 1994 in San Andres Tuxtla, Veracruz, Mexico to Ramon Toga & Pilar Pucheta-Ixtepan. David came to the United States in 2010 and in most recent years, has been the Manager at Rios Mexican Grill in New Buffalo & Michigan City. David loved his job and his co-workers at Rios. He enjoyed expanding his knowledge and learning new things. He loved having fun and had hobbies like riding bikes and trying new activities. David was known as a hardworking, humble, responsible & respectful man who was happiest around his family and when he was helping others. He was a loyal son, father, brother & companion & will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

David is survived by his daughter Anna Sofi Toga-Mezo; his parents Ramon & Pilar of Veracruz; his brothers-Jeremias (Eustolia Temich-Ceba) Toga-Pucheta & Ramon Toga-Pucheta both of New Buffalo; his best friend Stephanie Salgado of LaPorte, IN; his aunt Maria De Los Angeles Pucheta-Ixtepan; and all his friends & co-workers at Rios.
