The Soccer Tournament!

Volunteers are needed Thursday June 1 - Sunday June 4.

TST is a high stakes, winner-take-all $1 million soccer tournament. The inaugural edition will take place from June 1 to June 4, 2023, at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. TST aims to become the defining world championship for 7v7 soccer, attracting the most competitive soccer players in the world to an annual, highly intense format that follows the World Cup structure, pitting 32 teams against each other in group play before moving into the knockout stages.

Beyond soccer, TST is a festival that brings beer, food and interactive experiences together in one place to create an atmosphere fans can enjoy before, during and after games.

We need the support of volunteers who are willing to join us June 1-4 at WakeMed Soccer Park. For more information about the tournament, click here.

Registration Process:

• We ask that all volunteers sign up for a minimum of two shifts throughout the weekend.
• Volunteer age requirement is 18+
• The Volunteer shifts you select on the registration form will be your assigned shifts.
• If you would like to volunteer with a family member or friend please coordinate with them prior to registering. This will ensure you are assigned the same shift.

Frequently Asked Questions: 

• Do I have to work two consecutive shifts?

No, you do not have to work two consecutive shifts. However, you are welcome to if you would like.

• Do I need to be a soccer player or have soccer knowledge to volunteer?

No, there is no soccer knowledge required in order to volunteer. There are positions for a wide variety of people, if you have any questions about a position please don't hesitate to reach out.

• Can volunteer hours be counted towards volunteer requirements for schools, clubs, etc?

Yes, as long as the role served meets the requirements of your school, club, etc., our team will be happy to sign off verifying your participation as a volunteer. Please contact Faith Krause at Faith.Krause@Octagon.com if you need someone from our team to verify your participation.
