NNSWF is holding a Level 4 Referee Course specifically for players in the NPL Men, NPL Women, and Northern League One Youth Competitions
The session will provide information to youth players on the changes to the Laws of the Game for 2021, as well as give an insight on the benefits and challenges of being a match official.
To attend the Level 4 Referee Course, participants must be at least 13 years of age; be currently registered with FFA; and have successfully completed the FFA online Laws of the Game course and examination within the last 2 years. A copy of their FFA Laws of the Game Statement of Completion Certificate must be provided to NNSWF prior to undertaking the program.

To undertake this training program you must be at least 13 years of age and have successfully passed the online Laws of the Game within the past two years.
This training program is aimed at match officials officiating in junior and youth matches.
The program consists of theory modules, practical sessions and practical mentoring in matches as a referee and assistant referee.
Upon completion of all components referees will be officially qualified as a Level 4 Referee. The qualification is valid for a period of up to 4 years.
Who should do this Course
Anyone who wants to referee 11 v 11 football at a local level. Every referee - even World Cup referees - start from here.
Accreditation is compulsory in accordance with FFA National Registration Regulations.

Participants should be between the ages of 13 and 15 years. At this time, any youth players who are 16 and are wishing to attend this course must show proof of double vaccination.

Upon passing the Level 4 Referee Course, registering as a match official on Play Football and receiving all of the New Referee Starter Pack clothing and equipment, a participant can be appointed to officiate on matches.
