Little Bit

from Bonțida by Eduard Bănulescu

/

about

The war outside is raging. The plague is knocking down our door. And, your computer screen ain't offering much entertainment either.

It may all make it really appealing to quit. It's all a bad Saturday night skit, the kind that Alec Baldwin might be starring in. But, we all might need it just a little bit.

Little Bit is a post-grunge single about the madness of the times. The tune features danceable, Northern African motifs and a mix of sweet and growling vocals.

This is a song about addiction. It's a song about working to get out of your own way. Little Bit is an anti-war song. It's an anti-apathy song. It's a protest song about the madness that won't give us pause.

lyrics

drowning, clutching at straws
the madness of the times wouldn't give me pause
should I stop, roll over, beg, calling out your name
should you jump back, skid down the ice beg for my love in shame?

it's just a bad Saturday skit
but I might still need just a little bit

tearing, my soul and clothes to shreds
nearing to where the beginning ends
can I call up, drop by, wearing out your name with dirty words
can you sit down, nod off, this thing is for the birds

ain't got much coming to me gonna get it all few still know my name, be there when they call

drowning clutching out straws
washing out my dirty paws
can you talk fast, act quick, tell your grievances to God
can you think back to that time, do you think that he's forgot
