Cults have been around for a long time. And, they’re making a helluva comeback. I see their ads whenever I open up social media. I saw their leaders on television. And, my friends are always telling me about some fancy retreat. But which one’s for me? What is my flavor of Kool-aid?

“I Just Wanna Join a Cult” is a power-pop song inspired by the teachings of Teal Swan. It’s part of a 20-song project where I wrote and recorded one song per day for 20 days.
