Latinx Pre-Health Interest Form
Yale doesn’t have a group for Latinx pre-health students, so we want to get one started! If you'd like to join and/or help, fill out this quick interest form!

Our goals:
We have two main goals: (1) to provide support for Latinx students interested in being health care providers and (2) to advocate for the rights of Latinx patients.

(1) Having a group of students who are walking the same path will give us a space to seek and offer empathetic advice about classes, application processes, extracurriculars, imposter syndrome, and much more. We’ll also pool resources available to Yale students (there are so many – it can be easy to get lost in the sauce) with resources from the LMSA PLUS national organization (https://national.lmsa.net/resources/mentorship/plus/).

(2) We plan to host talks and discussions to educate ourselves and others on diversity, equity, and inclusion issues in healthcare (both for health professionals and for patients). And of course, New Haven has such a high Latinx population that there's no reason not to *actively* learn about the specific needs of our disadvantaged communities through service.
