Freedom Fellows: Call for Nominations
Dear HRF and CANVAS Community,

Please submit your nominations for Class 2023 of the Freedom Fellowship before December 9th.

The Freedom Fellowship is a one-year program that offers fellows with specialized mentorship in leadership, movement building, organizing, digital security, communication, fundraising, mental health and creative activism.

Ideal candidates are young human rights defenders who are in strategic or leadership positions and have the potential to make an impact on their communities. Candidates who are already involved in ongoing projects for social change or plan to launch one are preferred.
Candidates should be from authoritarian or competitive authoritarian countries.
Fluency in English and flexibility for traveling are mandatory.
