NHPS will provide Black, Indigenous, and all other People of Color (BIPOC) who are NHPS employees with funding support to participate in a Teacher Residency Program through the Alliance District Increasing Educator Diversity Grant. The district is partnering with six CT Residency Programs (Connecticut Teacher Residency Program, Relay Graduate School of Education, Sacred Heart University, Southern Connecticut State University, Quinnipiac University, and UCONN).
