Greetings AMIA!
We hope to see you all in Tulsa for the 2023 edition of ARCHIVAL SCREENING NIGHT at the Circle Cinema!
The event will take place on Thursday, November 16th as part of the 2023 AMIA Conference in Tulsa, OK. We hope to make this show one to remember, so please consider submitting your best finds and preservation efforts.
Everyone is invited and strongly encouraged to submit. Some priority will be given to first time applicants, applicants who were not selected for last year's show, and works which speak to the region in which the conference is held. If you are showing material as part of any other screening or panel during the conference, we ask you not to submit that piece to Archival Screening Night. You are welcome to resubmit material that was submitted but not selected in past years. There is a limited total screening running time, so not all pieces submitted will be included in the program.
The 2023 edition of Archival Screening Night will not be open to the public. However, it will be made available to AMIA members for online viewing after the conference.
Anyone interested in submitting material for the ASN Roadshow should complete the form below no later than
Friday, October 20th, 2023.
We are only able to accept digital formats this year.
GUIDING PHILOSOPHY:
AMIA Archival Screening Night provides members with an opportunity to showcase recent acquisitions, discoveries, and preservation efforts. The Archival Screening Night Group endeavors to create a program that represents the magnificent spectrum of formats, works, and collections protected and preserved by the AMIA community.
