Use the form below to request the use of one of the laptop computers Residential Life manages for student use. Once processed, an email will be sent to your UNO email account with instructions for picking up and returning the equipment.

Policy Acknowledgements: You must read and agree with all policies below associated with equipment rentals. *

I agree to follow all policies, restrictions, and guidelines under which I am able to use a laptop belonging to the University of New Orleans.

I am personally and financially responsible for any and all equipment checked out to me, including the full replacement costs of the equipment and accessories if lost, stolen or damaged.

I am responsible for any damages not listed as existing damage at the time of check out.

Equipment must be returned when due.

I will immediately report and problems, loss or damages of any equipment checked out to me.

I will log off of the internet and shut down the laptop before closing and returning it to the Office of Residential Life

I will return the laptop to the Office of Residential Life Office in Pontchartrain Hall North.

Equipment is available on a first come, first served basis.

Laptops have a 3 day maximum check out period.

No one may check out more than one laptop during the check out period

Residential Life is not responsible for lost information/ data. It is the students' responsibility to save their files off of the device. All files will be deleted when the laptop restarts.

Overdue fines: $50 per day after due date

Damage costs assessed on a case- by- case basis. May be charged up to the full replacement costs of the equipment. Laptop: $1200; Charger: $100
