Ukraine Refugees Questionnaire - Milton of Campsie
Milton of Campsie Church has been discussing how we can support Ukrainian Refugees and those who are hosting them in our community. We know many people across the community will also be interested in this and so we plan to hold a meeting on 12th May 730pm at Milton of Campsie church to discuss. All are welcome, no need to RSVP!

We acknowledge that only a tiny proportion of refugees will come to the UK due to visa difficulties. Supporting charities working with refugees in Ukraine, Poland, Hungary and Romania is essential, however we would like to help ensure that those Ukrainians that do arrive in Milton of Campsie and the surrounding areas have what they need and their hosts get support.

This questionnaire is to gather some information in advance of the meeting to gauge interest in this and to explore whether there are any refugees who will be coming to the area.

Do you have any prior experience in this area: eg have hosted refugees in the past/ work or volunteer for a relevant charity etc. (if so we hope to draw on your experience!)
We know there are various groups mobilising around Ukrainian refugees in the area, like East Dunbartonshire Welcomes Refugees. Is there anything specific you know about and can pass on information about that we could also connect with?
Have you, or anyone in your household, signed up to the Homes for Ukraine scheme, or similar (like Positive Action in Housing's Homes for Refugees scheme)
