Help KUNM News, a New Mexico NPR station and local public radio news outlet, shape our 2024 election coverage! Our newsroom is interested in hearing the perspectives of young people of color, 18-30 years old, on the upcoming general election. We are holding listening sessions with the goal of learning what election issues are important to you, what questions you have for candidates and about the voting process, and how a local newsroom like ours can best meet your needs this election season. Participating in the session does not mean you’ll be on the news (we hope that’s good news!). The session will not be recorded nor used for news content in and of itself. It's simply an opportunity for us to listen and learn and then incorporate your feedback into our elections coverage. We can then follow up with you afterward if you express interest in being a source in our resulting stories, and of course to see how we did once our coverage is out.
