UNA-NCA Human Rights Awards Nomination
Each year the United Nations Association - National Capital Area (UNA-NCA) hosts its awards reception during our commemoration of Human Rights Day in December, and we are pleased to present you the opportunity to personally recognize those individuals and institutions whom you admire for their work, their perseverance, and their passion in the forwarding of human rights.

Using this form, you can submit as many nominations for any of the four awards as you would like to, though the form allows for only one nomination at a time.

The Award Categories in Brief:
- Louis B. Sohn Award: advocated for the respect of international human rights as defined by the UN charter and other human rights treaties and instruments

- Perdita Huston Award: promotes gender equality

- F. Allen "Tex" Harris Diplomacy Award: demonstrated leadership in the diplomatic community on human rights issues
 
- UNA-NCA Community Human Rights Award: an organization that provides leadership to advance the cause of human rights in the Washington, DC, Maryland and/or Northern Virginia area
