Last month in Turin, Italy, the Alliance 8.7 unanimously adopted an accountability framework for pathfinder countries committed to achieving target 8.7 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. This was a Free the Slaves initiative. Working together with the Alliance 8.7 secretariat, FTS worked with the Monitoring Working Group of Alliance 8.7 to develop the framework that is now owned by Alliance 8.7.
