Abolition Alliance at Yale Teach-In
A virtual teach-in on Tuesday, May 4th from 5:00-6:30pm featuring Ala Ochumare, Youth Program Officer and cofounder of Black Lives Matter New Haven, Marbre Stahly-Butts, Executive Director of Law for Black Lives,  and T.J. Grayson of Yale Law School and the Black Law Students Association.

This teach-in is part of Abolition May: a month of actions to dismantle campus police forces and oppose our respective universities’ investments in the carceral state apparatus. Abolition May will begin with coordinated actions around the country on May 3 and end on May 25, the first year anniversary of George Floyd’s death. The Abolition Alliance at Yale includes the Black Students for Disarmament at Yale, Concerned and Organized Graduate Students at Yale, Black Law Student Association, Endowment Justice Coalition, Yale Undergrad Prison Project, and the Racial Capitalism and the Carceral State working group.
