Good Morning Wappingers Central School District Community,

We have been made aware of concerning off-campus interactions between an individual and students.  It has been reported that this individual has approached students after school hours near John Jay High School.  

We are working in collaboration with the East Fishkill Police Department to investigate this further. Based on these circumstances we have increased our police presence both on and off campus near John Jay High School.

This highlights the importance and power of “See Something, Say Something”, and we thank our students and parents for coming forward with this very important information. As always, the health, welfare, and safety of our students and staff remain our top priority.  We are thankful for our partnership with the East Fishkill Police Department, and for the support of our families as we strive to provide a safe and healthy learning environment for our students.
