DecarbCities is taking place on 11-12 May at MuseumsQuartier in Vienna.

How can cities phase-out fossil fuels from the existing building stock? The main aim of the 3rd edition of DecarbCities is to fuel the ongoing debate on national and regional energy and climate plans as well as renovation strategies, as mandated by the European legislation on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and building efficiency.

The registration process will continue during the visit to the large-scale heat pumps at Therme Wien for the participants who want to only participate in the conference.

Group 1 – Visit to the large-scale heat pumps at Therme Wien 

These 2 MW heat pumps recover waste heat from the thermal baths to supply around 1,900 households via the district heating system.

The participants will be directed toward the bus stop located close to the venue and will be transported to Therme Wien.
