HOME STUDENT HEALTH SCREENER QUESTIONS
Parents,

Information from SJCSD dated April 15, 2021

CDC updates regarding quarantine requirements after vaccination:

  • Individuals who have been fully vaccinated – that is, 2 weeks or more have passed since the second dose in a 2-dose vaccine or the first dose in a 1-dose vaccine series – will not be required to quarantine following exposure, provided he/she does not develop new symptoms of COVID-19.

The Department of Health (DOH) requests that we follow the current contact tracing protocol, regardless of vaccination status. They will contact exposed individuals to ensure no symptoms have developed, research his/her vaccination status in the state system, and provide further COVID education. The DOH will determine if the individual is exempt from quarantine. The Health Services Department, as well as the school nurses, will work diligently to assist students, parents and staff in this process.

This has been updated on our District Health Services webpage.

END OF YEAR TESTING INFORMATION
IMPORTANT message for parents of 9th and 10th grade students: If your 9th or 10th grade student will be taking the FSA Reading in the next two weeks.

All students need headphones for this assessment. We highly encourage students to bring their own headphones due to COVID. Airpods/wireless headphones are not compatible with our computer audio system. Suitable headphones require a jack to insert into our system, as see below. These are available from a variety of stores. If you can, please make sure your student has a pair to use for testing. Thank you.
YOUR PTSO IS MAKING SHADE FOR OUR STUDENTS
The Creekside High School PTSO is proud to announce that the new shade structure will be placed above the outdoor amphitheater in the courtyard this summer. When students return to campus for the 2021-2022 school year, they will be able to enjoy the shade.

Whether it's a club meeting, poetry reading, science experiment or simply a place to eat lunch, the new shade will bring multiple opportunities to learn and grow both academically and socially.

We are very thankful that we can make a difference for all when we come together as a community. In just four years, we were able to amass $31,150 for this project!

We look forward to your continued support when our 2021-2022 membership drive kicks off.

The Creekside Cheer Program had a wonderful season! For the first year in a long time the athletes competed in the traditional cheer category where tumbling was included and had huge success throughout the season. Both JV & Varsity grew tremendously this year in their competitive nature and drive to be the best they can be. We would like to wish our graduation seniors Mia Emerson, Sydney Herbst, Kristin Bradley and Emma Harrah the best in their future endeavors, their leadership was a key component of this years team. The Creekside Cheer program is excited to continue the competitive nature for years to come, continuing the Game Day traditions, promoting school sprit and putting community as a very important part of our program. We would like to thank our coaching staff, volunteers and athletic department for all of their support within the cheer program.

Cheerfully,
Coach Moltisanti
