"When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."
George Washington's Prophetic Warning

On September 19, 1796,George Washington, in his Farewell Address as the First President of The United States, delivered a prophetic Warning about the danger to America of "cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men" who 'usurp for themselves the reins of government."'

"...to put, in the place of the delegated will of the Nation, the will of a party; - often a small but artful and enterprising minority...they are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunnning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the Power of the People and to usurp for themselves the reins of government; destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them in unjust dominion."

"But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism - The disorders and miseries, which result, gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual... [who] turns this disposition to the purpose of his own elevation, on the ruins of Public Liberty."
The Prophecy Fulfilled

Since the Inauguration of Joe Biden to the Presidency of the United States, it has become transparently clear that his elevation to that position is the result of ideologically 'cunning, ambitious and unprincipled men' who subverted 'the power of the people,' 'usurped for themselves the reins of government,' to replace 'the delegated will of the nation' with 'the will of a Party', and are 'destroying afterward the very engines which have lifted them' to 'unjust dominion."'

No matter how you rationalize it, 'cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men' (and women) acted in disregard of our state laws in disrespect for millions of voters in the 2020 General Election. They 'usurped for themselves the reins of government' to impose 'the will of a Party.'

Declaring Our Freedom ... Again

When our Constitutional rights of freedom of speech and assembly, religious liberty, and pursuit of happiness are denied or censored and not 'secured' by those sworn to protect those freedoms, is it not 'necessary' - as our Founders believed it to be - to 'declare the causes' which 'impel' us to "alter" unconstitutional laws and remove from office those who exercise their assumed political power and control wrongly? Are these rights not Unalienable? Does our tolerance of these violations not lead to a 'more formal and permanent despotism'?

And how do we do that if our concerns, opposition, and views are censored by government and private entities who wish to control all discussion and views they do not want others to hear?

It is time for Christians and principled conservatives to heed the warning of our first President, stand up, speak out, make our voices heard in our State Capitols and Washington D.C., and remove from office those who fail to keep their sworn commitments to we-the-people.
