Ocean Spray places an important emphasis on taking care of its workers, and its Henderson plant was recognized for just that, earning the prestigious Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) status. Ocean Spray is the first company in Henderson to achieve VPP status, a program that recognizes companies who implement and maintain effective safety and health management systems.
“We are not a successful company if we aren’t safe,” said Henderson Plant Director Mark Rauenzahn. “The entire Ocean Spray team here in Henderson is incredibly engaged in safety—it’s a mindset that we are all safety leaders.”
Ocean Spray has been part of the Henderson community since 1994 and occupies a 212,000 square foot facility on 40 acres of land outside of Las Vegas. The plant helps supply Ocean Spray to millions of consumers in the Southwest.
