Elementary, ECC, PK and WFC students return on Monday, March 8. Middle and high school students return March 9.
The school superintendent is expected to provide more details about the reopening plan at a special meeting Thursday night.
When schools do reopen full time next month, one student will be missing. The family of a young man who took his life this month believes remote leaning intensified his depression.
Kevin Kuczo's parents say they take comfort in the news more classrooms will soon be open every day.
Kuczo, 17, took his own life earlier this month. His parents believe isolation and the loss of sports were the tipping point for their son, who had struggled with depression and often tried to hide it.
They want other families to hear their story and break the stigma of mental illness.
In the announcement that schools will reopen in March, the superintendent mentioned emotional health.
