Opportunity Details

Marshall Fires - Help Feed Our Community

"Spark" has partnered with Harvest Pack, a food packaging nonprofit from Minnesota, to offer a project to create meals of oatmeal for area families that are experiencing hunger.  Packaged food will support the needs of: those affected by the Marshall Fires as well as  individuals and families experiencing hunger in Boulder and Broomfield Counties.  The project requires a bit of stamina and has repetitive movements.

This is a great family activity.  Children 10 and older who are accompanied by an adult are also welcome.  If you have a younger child who likes to "sticker" and you'd like to join them, send Lee an email.

The packaging event is being held at the Marshall Fire Donations' Center, located at 21 Flatirons Crossing - in the old Nordstrom's building.  It's a bit tricky to find - located between Macy's and Dick's Sporting Goods stores.  Park on the East side and enter through the Volunteers Welcome doors.

Weather conditions may cause the closure of the Donations' Center with a few hours notice.  We will try to contact you - please check your Junk and Spam folders.  You can also call this number for the latest information:  303-574-2300.
