Johanna Cahn-Gödelmann, a nurse, was married to non-Jewish painter Jakob Gödelmann, and worked in Jewish hospital of Mannheim, Germany from 1939-1942. Following the deportation of the other Jewish staff and patients, Cahn-Gödelmann remained behind as the only nurse. Because she was married to a non-Jewish German, she was not deported, but following the closure of the Jewish Hospital in 1942, she lived with relatives of her husband's near Mannheim, until the end of the war.

Consists of one postcard, signed by Rebeka Trautmann, confirming that she has received an item to be worn that identifies her as a Jew, according to the ordinance of 1 September 1941. Dated in Vienna, 18 September 1941. With number of her identification card (or "Kennkarte") handwritten on card.
Ahuva Goldfarb papers

Contains six letters from aid worker Ahuva Goldfarb, sent from the Caroulas Interment Camp in Famagusta, Cyprus, addressed to Dr. Mina Lifshitz, in Hadera, Palestine, 1946-1947. Also includes receipt booklet recording disbursements made to camp internees.
Siegfried Schnurmann papers

Contains approximately 26 letters and a photograph related to Schnurmann's stay at a Zionist youth kibbutz in Sweden, 1939-1945. Predominantly consists of correspondence from his parents, Elias and Rosa Schnurmann, but also from other family members and acquaintances in Sweden.
Union of Po'alei Agudat Israel questionnaires

Approximately 50 questionnaires, with attached handwritten supplemental statements, from Holocaust survivors who sought the assistance of the Union of Po'alei Agudat Israel in finding work, circa 1950s. Questionnaires contain information about applicants' famillies, occupations prior to World War II, education, professional training.

Printed handbill, in Yiddish, urging voters in Belgian election in 1940s to support candidates on one list over another, issued by Po'alei Zion. Mention is made of Jacques Mossar, a Belgian Jew who collaborated with the Germans during the occupation, and was assassinated.

One volume ledger book, 861 pages, containing handwritten information on individuals returning to Romania after internment in concentration camps and labor camps, dated July 1945 to January 1946, at unidentified intake center, presumably in Oradea. Contains 5,864 entries, with name of individual, birthdate and birthplace, locale of deportation, current destination, and number of days resident at intake center.

One handwritten and hand-illustrated memorial leaf, listing the names of the victims of the pogrom that took place in Iasi, Romania, June, 1941, as well as the names of several people who were killed in World War I. Written and illustrated by Itzchak ben Efraim Benditer (1927- ), for display in the great synagogue in Iasi, to memorialize those who used to pray there, who were killed in the pogrom.
