The need for accurate data is essential and we’re not getting it on this side of the Atlantic.

Dr. Joseph Mercola had a piece published in the Epoch Times on Tuesday that addressed a new report from the United Kingdom that showed that 9 out of 10 COVID deaths were among the vaccinated.

In his article, Dr. Mercola stresses how vital it is that we have accurate data.

He’s right. We need clear and accurate data in order to assess both the risk and the outcomes of interventions. Unfortunately, there seems to be a concerted effort to keep people in North America, in particular, in the dark.

Some of the best data on COVID infections and vaccination in the world is from the United Kingdom and Israel. This is despite the fact that the “Gold Standard” infectious disease agency, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is located in the United States. That’s pretty embarrassing.

Dr. Mercola shows how the difference in data collection shapes the response to COVID in different countries and how this could be incredibly harmful.

A report released by the UK government has confirmed that 9 out of every 10 deaths related to COVID-19 are found in those who are fully vaccinated. Although the virus variant is the same and the UK approved only one different vaccine (AstraZeneca) from the United States, the data in the U.S. are different. This may be due in large part to the CDC definition used to identify who is “vaccinated.”

U.S. data are also likely to become even more sparse in the coming weeks and months. In addition to the CDC hiding data, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) quietly decided in early February to stop recording deaths attributed to COVID-19…

… The Exposé, demonstrated step by step how the data, gathered from Jan. 24, 2022, through February 28, 2022, supported this assertion. In the UK, health authorities differentiate between those who have never received a shot and those who received one, two or three doses. All told, there were 1,086,434 cases of COVID in vaccinated individuals that accounted for 73 percent of all cases during that period.

When children were removed from the equation, vaccinated individuals accounted for 91 percent of all cases.

Dr. Mercola cites a news report from California that appears to show the same thing, but notes that the raw numbers are different, and the article itself spreads disinformation from “medical experts” about the deaths.

Headlines in the March 7, 2022, Mercury News read, “COVID-19 Deaths in California Among Vaccinated Rose Sharply With Omicron.” The corresponding story added that 10 deaths recorded in Santa Cruz County, California, and nine of those were vaccinated. On the surface, this is similar to findings reported from the UK. Yet, the raw numbers in the United States are different.

This is likely because U.S. data do not differentiate between individuals who have had one, two or three shots. In fact, the U.S. CDC clearly states that you can only be considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving the final dose in the primary two-shot series from Pfizer and Moderna or the one shot from Johnson & Johnson…

…The Mercury News justified the vaccinated deaths, writing: “Of the vaccinated patients who died, one was in his early 100s, three were in their 90s, two were in their 80s, three were in their 70s and most had underlying health problems. The unvaccinated man who died was in his 50s.”

While age is certainly a significant factor in any infectious disease including COVID, the article did not mention any of the other CDC-identified comorbidities that contribute to COVID deaths. To add to the misinformation, the article quoted Dr. Errol Ozdalga, a hospitalist at Stanford, who told the Mercury News that patients admitted during the Delta wave and earlier infections were otherwise healthy.

Dr. Mercola then lambasted Dr. Ozdalga for his misleading statements that appeared to imply that patients with comorbidities other than age identified by the CDC — heart disease, diabetes, obesity, chronic kidney disease, and the immunocompromised — were not hospitalized for COVID before Omicron, which clearly isn’t true.

In the Mercury News article, Dr. Ozdalga said that things changed with Omicron and Dr. Mercola summarized Dr. Ozdalga’s perspective that the variant has “afflicted those with weakened immune systems, those who were ‘predisposed in some way’ to severe illness.”

That is not what the data shows. Omicron spread rapidly among the vaccinated, the unvaccinated, and even the boosted. Just in the last couple of days, former President Barack Obama and Vice President Kamala Harris’s husband, Doug Emhoff, both announced that they had tested positive for COVID despite having three jabs each.

We have seen that immunity from the vaccine wanes fairly quickly and the CDC recommends getting a booster “at least 5 months after the last dose in the primary series.”

Meanwhile, studies have shown that natural immunity can last anywhere between 6 months to two years.

When your mask-wearing, quadruple-vaxxed, pro-lockdown, Democrat aunt tells you that you need to “follow the science” ask if she means “the science” in the United States or “the science” in the United Kingdom. Because according to the data used, those appear to be very different things.

The CDC categorizes patients as “fully-vaccinated” two weeks after the last dose in their primary series of vaccination and has created the new label of “up-to-date” to mean that someone has “received all recommended doses in their primary series COVID-19 vaccine, and a booster dose when eligible.”

The category of “vaccinated” can mean something very different depending on which medical experts you listen to and where they are in the world.

The other problem that Dr. Mecrola mentions is that not all fully-vaccinated patients are identified upon hospital admission, and that makes analyzing U.S. numbers “difficult, if not impossible.” He says that you should ask yourself if this is intentional.

Since the raw data in the U.S. is lacking, Scientists have been relying on data from other countries.

Without raw data from the United States, scientists have relied on Israeli data. One study gathered information from 4.6 million people ages 16 and older who had received two doses of the Pfizer vaccine. They compared severe illness and death between those who had the booster and those who did not. The data showed the group from 16 to 29 years had zero deaths whether they were boosted or not.

Likewise, the group from 30 to 39 years had one death whether they were boosted or not. In fact, the difference in death rate did not rise until the participants were 60 to 69 years, at which point the non-boosted group had 44 deaths and the boosted group had 32 deaths.

Dr. Mercola also notes that the CDC is deliberately withholding critical COVID data because they are concerned that it might be “misinterpreted.” Interestingly, the data that is being withheld relates to younger cohorts who are statistically are at much lower risk from severe illness and death from COVID and the efficacy of vaccination.

ClashDaily covered that in February here:

The CDC Is Refusing To Publish Some COVID Vax Data Because It Might Be ‘Misinterpreted’

When you pair all of that information with another recent study on side effects from the vaccine, we’ve got a very ugly picture developing…

While data shows that “most reported adverse events were mild and short in duration,” according to the study, which was published in the UK-based medical journal The Lancet, 6.6% of all side effects were categorized as “serious,” and resulted in “inpatient hospitalisation, prolongation of hospitalisation, permanent disability, life-threatening illness, congenital anomaly or birth defect.”

Deaths represented a stunning 1.3% of side effects reports…

…Last year, the CDC kicked [co-author of the Great Barrington Declaration, Martin] Kulldorff off a vaccine safety panel for publicly questioning its recommendation to pause the distribution of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine over a statistically insignificant number of reports of severe blood clots.

Clinical neurobiologist Spiro Pantazatos of Columbia University told Just the News he wasn’t surprised by the high incidence of serious events, including death. Pantazatos estimates that COVID vaccine-related deaths are “underreported by a factor of 20.

With all that in mind, remember that Fauci, Biden, Pfizer, and all the triple-vaxxed Dems that just tested positive for COVID are continuing to push boosters while completely ignoring the risks of the jabs and natural immunity.

Here is Dr. John Campbell who looks at the raw data and says that we now need to move past this one-size-fits-all approach with vaccination and acknowledge that recovery from natural infection is superior to vaccination.

Can we just acknowledge that some people are making a whole lot of money pushing vaccines while desperately trying to hide the data?

That’s clearly what’s going on here. It isn’t about health, it’s about control.

Have you had it with the Prevaricating Authoritarian Smurf giving his pronouncements about the pandemic from on high? You’re not alone. Maybe it’s time to tell the diminutive bureaucrat who keeps moving the goalposts exactly what you think of him.
