Public Meeting the LWCF Grant Application

Under the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965 (Public Law 88-578), citizens are afforded the opportunity to express their views concerning the recreational needs of their community. To provide a forum for discussion, the City of Silver Grove, Kentucky will be hosting an open meeting on:

  • Date: Thursday, May 16, 2024
  • Time: 6:30 PM
  • Location: Silver Grove City Building
  • Address: 308 Oak Street, 

The specific purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Green Valley Pond Trail Project LWCF application. The public is invited to review and voice their opinion on the proposed activities and potential impacts of the project. Anyone wishing to support or oppose the proposed project can also submit written comments to the City of Silver Grove, PO Box 428, Silver Grove, Kentucky, by May 21, 2024.

The Project Sponsor is hosting a public meeting on their proposed Green Valley Pond Trail Project RTP application. The specific purpose of this meeting is to discuss the construction of a trail and parking lot to service the Green Valley Pond Park. To provide a forum for discussion, the City of Silver Grove, Kentucky will be hosting an open meeting on:

Silver Grove Student Scholarship

Scholarship Description

The Silver Grove Student Scholarship aims to give deserving young people the financial means to continue their education. This non-renewable scholarship is awarded to high school seniors living in the city of Silver Grove, Kentucky. Eligible applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Scholarships are awarded based on the applicant’s financial need, academic achievement, and contribution to the community.
