Well, down the rabbit hole have we gone with this new story that is the first of a trilogy from Kathy Coopmans. Honestly, I have zero words. The flow of this story was amazing. So much so, that I would have devoured it in one sitting, but apparently I had to sleep, so my tablet was taken away from me by my husbutt. Anywho, this story blew my mind. The concept to the scorching passion, plus the twists and turns, my head is still spinning. Especially with that ending! OMG!! I NEED MORE!
One thing that was amazing about this story is how much of a fighter Ellie is. After seeing what she had endured to get where she is, she doesn’t back down and she doesn’t hide when confronted. My heart broke for her so much though. To go through what she did. But that just added to the twists that were to come. Then we have Logan. OH Logan. The man who is in love with forbidden fruit and that will get so tangled in the long run. I wanted to smack him those last few pages. So we will see how it all plays out.
But holy jaw drop with that ending! Coopmans gives you enough to draw you in and beg for more. And trust me you will. I am so excited to see how this will all play out in the long run but I could seriously go for the second book stat!!!

She's got an amazing best friend, an incredible pseudo-mom, a thriving business, and her health. When a night of unparalleled passion completely obliterates her walls, she's left trying to figure out if this one guy, this blast from her past, a man tied to the man she fears most, is worth the risk. Will Logan give her everything she's ever dreamed of or will he bring her nightmares back to life?
While I'm suffering from a cliffhanger temper tantrum, I've come to realize that although I felt no real connection to these characters, I'm still intrigued by this story. I'm hungry for more of Logan and his secrets and how he'll prove himself and earn the complete trust of the woman who completely owns him.

My heart almost stopped beating at the ending paragraph of this book!!!! 😱omg 😱
Unravel was so well orchestrated that I fervently read page after page.
Each character carried a tough past and some skeletons in their closets.
I was in awe watching Logan falling for Ellie, how such a sexy alpha character laid down his feelings and thoughts with honesty and great passion. And I was very happy for Ellie’s emotional and sexual awakening.
The plot was amazing, with angst, passion and suspense, secrets and lies leapt off the pages, very well written and developed.
I was very upset because throughout the story Logan was afraid of losing Ellie if she found out his secret and I had to wait until the actual last sentences for the secret to be disclosed. 😡
Logan and Elllie’s journey will be definitely fascinating. 🤩

I tries to like Unravel more than 2 stars. But I give up at the end. I do not connect with the writing's style of Miss Coopmans. This is my first read by Miss Coopmans. Her writing is adding more and more plot while the story progresses. I get tired guessing what will happen.
The dramatic aspect is also too much. The sexual chemistry is also too dramatic. The BDSM aspect is lame. The chemistry between Logan and Ellie is also seems off. In short, I do not like this book.

Unravel by Kathy Coopmans is Book 1 in Unbound Trilogy. Let me start by saying OMG what a wild and amazing start to her new trilogy.
This book had me enthralled and on the edge of my seat, not knowing what or how or who to even grab "hold" of, if you understand what I mean. There's such an emotionally charged rollercoaster ride going on. The twists and turns that Ms. Coopmans takes you on. I literally didn't know if I was coming or going. I just knew that I adored Logan and Ellie's story and I wanted to know what was going to happen next...only to get this epic cliffhanger. I loved the angst, twists, drama, intrigue, passion ,romance and suspense. All rolled out into a phenomenal read. I enjoyed every moment and now I need book 2
"Undone" like yesterday.

5+ DELICIOUS SEXY STARS!! I devoured this book in one sitting!! Logan is so YUMMY!! Logan and Ellie's story is so delicious and sexy you will consume every word in a couple of hours. Their story has all the feels, some angst, sexiness, friendship, family and love. It is a rollercoaster of a ride, so strap yourself in and enjoy. I can't wait for the next book....I AM DYING RIGHT NOW!! Kathy Coopmans words are like your favorite dessert you can't get enough.....give me more.

The twists and turns that the author had me going in was like being in a twister. I didn't know which way was up. And the ending.... what can I say but Oh My Gawd.... the ending ...
it was a page turning, sexy, mysterious read. All I wanted to know was .. what was his secret? But when I found out .. I was like WHAT the ...I couldn't have read that right!
But yes I did.

Talk about Unraveling. Kathy Coopmans had me on edge and so darn curious throughout this entire book. I was sure I would figure out the twist. Uh, yeah, not even close! I'm left stuttering and sputtering for how I missed it.
Unravel is going to unravel my mind while I wait for Undone. It's spinning while I attempt to process all I've learned. I almost feel like I need to do a reread to see if I can catch all that I missed. I don't think it will help but I'm my mind it's like I can catch it and change the story!
Unravel is complicated. It's a complex web of lies, lust, and secrets precariously balanced in the hopes that the truth will stay hidden. Not even sure it is the truth. I don't know which end is up or what to believe. I know that nothing will be the same. I know that Logan has betrayed me in the worst way and I'm not even who he's worried about. I know that Ellie deserves everything good and wonderful and instead she was dragging into something she doesn't even know.
I am so annoyed and so intrigued. I need answers and I'm not going to get them anytime soon. It's so frustrating I want to scream. I want to scream at Logan, Lane, Gabe, and Seth. I want assets from everyone, including Shadow. I want to have a tea party with Lexi and watch The Little Mermaid. But we can't always get what we want...

Liar. Pig. Manipulator. Cheater. Stupid-as-f*ck a**hole. I just can't even with Logan Mitchell. He talks a helluva talk out loud & loves to ramble on in his head about his guilty conscience but to Ellie, the woman he is supposedly in love with... he keeps every damn secret locked away. He makes me feel dirty... & not in a good way. I'm seriously praying to the karma gods that Ellie gets to exact some kind of revenge on this piece of sh*t & his STD-ridden secret in the near future. #Unredeemable
That rant finished... I will be jumping straight into the next book as soon as possible. I hated leaving Ellie where she was at the end of this book! So ready for her to get some honest, lovin' from someone who is completely devoted to her & her ONLY.

This is the first book I've read by Kathy Ccopmans and it definitely will not be the last. It's the first book in the planned Unbound trilogy and I absolutely cannot wait for the next two books! Especially since Unravel ended with quite the cliffhanger!!!
It's a sweet, remarkable love story with a bit of mystery, intrigue and action. Plus a fair amount of steamy scenes, which are veeeerrrryyyyy steamy!! I highly recommend this book and the trilogy, as well as the author. ❤️

Unravel by Kathy Coopmans did just that. It left me completely unraveled and gasping a tortured Nooooooo at the end of the book.
Ellie has lost so much, but she is a fighter and hasn’t let her past make her weak. You will love her!
Logan is a man surrounded by guilt, secrets and mystery. He comes back into Ellie’s life and wants her like no other, only his past and hers are on a twisted course that left me reeling.

The first in a new trilogy from Kathy and boy has she delivered. From the start I could tell this was different from her previous books. I was hooked, the story and the characters intrigued me. There is an air of mystery throughout the story. Everyone seems to be hiding something. Logan is a man on a mission, he has Ellie in his sights but I don't trust him.
Get ready readers this is a bumpy confusing twist ride with a HUGE cliffhanger. Roll on book two.

If you could imagine the way I was smiling when I was about to read this book... You would think that I was crazy...
I was smiling so freaking hard because I simply adore this author.
She has been a constant in my reading life and her books are to die for.
Not only is she an amazing writer but also an amazing person. She's that awesome.
Kathy Coopmans has a writing that will hook you up and will captivate your attention in a sec. Just trust me. Her books are raw, intense, amazing and with a few hot stuff into the mix.

Superb plot, very well written, super engaging and intense...
Jesus... Once I started to read it I simply couldn't put it down.
Secretes were being poured between the pages and the need to know more overpowered my ability to stop reading.
Scene after scene of intense feeling, of intense chemistry and lots of hot stuff. But not everything was a bed of roses because I saw myself being pinched by the thorns.
This book was the perfect beginning to a trilogy. It had suspended, crime, punishment, deceive as well as love, loyalty, and family.
Kathy... Why? Why did you do this to me? I need more... I want more... Please... Soon.
I can't wait to grab the second book.

A story that Unravels your thoughts and emotions like a slow rope dangling at the hands of the awesomeness that is Kathy Coopmans! Logan and Ellie's story is one full of angst, love, lust, pain, anger, chemistry, twists and turns, and a fist full of secrets! Ellie has been through so much and is one heck of a fighter! I can't wait to see where Kathy takes her! The nose dive of an ending had me saying, "oh he** NO!!" Amazing story and I am so ready for the next book!!

Come on!!!! Where is that golden button because this deserves so much more than Five Stars!!! Oh. My. Freaking. Shizz!!!!
Ellie breaks her own self-imposed rules for one night with a guy she meets in a club, the connection, the chemistry is off the charts. Like stratospheric!! And then, in the blink of an eye she realises who he is and runs, leaving him asleep.
Two weeks later and with some interference from her friend, they meet again. Logan is not going to let her go without a fight, she is the light he craves, the calm to his storm. Damn! My heart, yes, there it goes, not sure if I will get it back!
From the title, you know it's a trilogy right?! And holy freaking cliffhanger! I went blindly in to that! Which is fantastic! Nothing gives it away and I absolutely love that. This book had my mind spinning a mile a minute. Now I am desperately trying to catch my breath and do this book justice with this review!! This author is a bloody genius!!!

Wow. Logan is a man with many layers. He is complicated amazing and compassionate. Ellie is one strong woman. Love the twists in the story. Could not wait to see what would happen next. Can’t wait for the next book. Amazing read.

I was pulled right into this story. This is a 3-part story so be prepared to get all three parts. The story has suspense, lies, secrets, edge of your seat jaw dropping craziness, and drama.
This is the dare I say start of the story. I have tons of questions but sadly I have not one answer. What the hell is going on comes to mind but at certain points I am not sure I really want to know what is going on. My mind is already blown, and this was just the very tip of the story. No spoilers you will have to read on your own but if you hate a cliffy buy this and hold it until the end. Because this entire book is a huge cliffy, I am not sure we will get any answers until the lats piece. Can I say an author is evil? Because yes, she is. Cliffys are not my thing and this book is a reason why I hate reading one. We have to wait for answers, and I NEED them NOW!!!!!

This story, this couple it was captivating. From the Hot as Sin Prologue I was hooked!
They both have serious trust issues and a past that has a connection. But the sexual chemistry, the attraction is magnetic!! No matter how Ellie tries, no matter how high she has built that wall she cant stay away from him.

Unravel by Kathy Coopmans does just that... It completely and utterly unraveled every little piece of my heart. I need more of Ellie and Logan Now!!!! This book is sooooo full of secrets. So many twists and turns and WTF moments. I absolutely couldn't get enough. I NEEEEEEED the next book NOW!!! That HUGH cliffhanger left me wanting to find Ms Coopmans and demand an explanation pronto! I need answers, woman!!! I am so excited to see how the rest of this trilogy plays out. What else lies in store for Ellie and Logan?

[1.25 star] it started out okay, but as i read on, the more pissed i get. the book is bloody long-winded, and the author keeps repeating the same damn thing and leave readers hanging since its a trilogy, she cant let readers know what is the HUGE secret.
i am debating whether do i wanna read on to find out what happen or just forget it. not every author has the capabilities to write a trilogy as it has to be interesting enough to keep readers wanting more.

This book! It had all the feels, for real. Ellie went through so much when she was younger, it's hard to wrap your head around. You just want to hug her! Logan, so many secrets! I recall cussing at the end, so it wasn't just quiet emotions that this brought out. I was loud! lol

Just when I thought Kathy Coopmans couldn’t outdo herself, she wrote Unravel , the first book in her Unbound Trilogy .
Ellie had the perfect family and life. When her parents passed away she’s left with her evil stepmom and even more evil stepsister and brother. The three of them did everything to make Ellie’s life a living hell. Her stepbrother also had an evil infatuation with her.
Ellie was lucky to have her former housekeeper turned mom and best friend turned sister in her life. They’ve been there for her when she was broken and at the bottom.
Now they have a clothes boutique that’s doing amazing. They have their own place. Ellie is happy but she’s always looking over her shoulder. She’s petrified her stepbrother will find her. One night Ellie lets loose and goes home with the most handsome, intense and intriguing man she’s ever met. Ellie doesn’t realize until after he falls asleep who he is. Ellie’s afraid her stepbrother is right around the corner so she gets her stuff and runs out of his place in middle of the night. Ellie can’t believe she didn’t recognize it was Logan Mitchell sooner.
Logan has always loved Ellie from afar. He knew her stepbrother was an evil man, knew what he wanted from Ellie. It’s why he’d insist on going with him whenever he went to Ellie’s. When he heard what happened to Ellie, Logan wanted to kill him. Still does.
Logan has always kept tabs on Ellie from afar. He’ll do anything to keep her safe. He knows he shouldn’t want her but when he saw her legs, heard her laugh that night at the bar he couldn’t stay away.

When the bomb drops both Ellie and Logan’s love nest unravels.
I really liked Ellie. My heart broke for her youth of loosing her parents and the way her stepfamily treated her. When the housekeeper and her daughter came in and made her a part of their family was amazing. She became a strong women considering everything that was done to her in the past.
As hot, intense, intimidating sexy as Logan is I’m not sure if I could get past his job and the things he’s done in the past. I definitely had been curious as to what this big secret was and lemme just say this... I finished this book around 3am and the last 3-4 paragraphs my heart kept beating faster and faster but the last two sentences my jaw dropped and my heart stopped while my mind blew up!!!
Kathy definitely started this trilogy with a bang. I’m also nervous bc this cliffhanger was a doozy and considering there’s two more books still, I can’t even imagine how bad the next cliffhanger will be lmao. I’m also hoping after this trilogy ends Logan’s Brothers are next. They definitely intrigued me. Great start Kathy!!!

Well fuck me, what in the every loving hell just happened?! Honestly I've got absolutely nothing left in me after that journey and that ending y'all, more specifically that last paragraph... ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? Again, other than a whole lot of anger at some characters and this author leaving me on the edge of my seat with mail biting suspense on what the hell is going to happen next... I. Got. Nothing.
I adore Kathy Coopmans and I've been with her since the start and her writing has gotten better each time... more honest, unstoppable, unforgettable, and unputdownable. And while I'm not a huge fan of cliffys, Kathy is worth it plus I trust her to bring it full circle in the end and this book? SOOOOO. WORTH. IT. even despite that ending that made me stabby and wanting to throw shit across the room. Unravel was unexpected in the best ways.
Complicated. Really, really, really complicated. Intense. Suspenseful. Emotional. Twisted. Steamy. Gritty. Raw. Passionate. Sexy. Mind blowing. Angsty. Filled with secrets, lies, and so much mystery. Unravel will completely unravel you in every single way and every single moment and leave you breathless, heart pounding, jaw dropped, shredded in pieces, needing just a chapter or two more to make sense of everything that just went down.
No spoilers. No secrets. My lips are sealed. This is only book one of three and I got a sneaky, sneaky suspicion that what we got is just the TIP of the iceberg here.
October can't come soon enough.
I highly recommend this book if you love cliffhangers that'll twist you all up and if you hate them, grab this book now and wait for the trilogy to complete itself because I can tell you now that it's totally gonna be totally worth it.
