This Year was designated by our Bishop Philip as the Year of the Eucharist extending an open invitation to everyone in the Diocese to take part in a spiritual renewal. A unique opportunity for us to rekindle our love for Jesus Christ really and truly present and active in the Holy Eucharist.

Following two very challenging years, the Catholic Bishops Conference have also recently agreed to reinstate the Sunday obligation. They are now inviting all Catholics to return to attending Mass in person from the Feast of Pentecost.

So join us in this spiritual renewal and return of our Sunday Mass by going back to the basics and deepen our understanding of Holy Mass. Experiencing the fullness and depth of the Holy Mass begins with understanding not just the Mass, but of worship itself. To do so, this course will explore four important questions:

Why worship at all ? Why a meal ? Why does the Mass take the form that it does ? Why does the extraordinary come to us in ordinary ways?

In this four-part series we seek to answer these questions in a very conversational format online. Each 1 hour session will include a short video and engaging small group discussions.

"Here on earth it’s impossible to perform a more meritorious act than visiting Jesus often in the Eucharist. If you took all of the good works done by all of the humans who have ever lived in all of history and stacked them all up and multiplied them by a million, they wouldn’t equal the merit, the virtue and the worth of one Mass. The Eucharistic sacrifice is Christ’s infinite merit, infinite value."
Saint Teresa of Avila
The course will be run ONLINE from 7:30 to 8:30PM - MONDAYS - starting on Monday 13th June for 4 weeks, ending on Monday 4th July
