RBMA Announces Board of Directors & Officers

for 2023-2024

RBMA is proud to announce its newly elected board of directors and officers for 2023-2024. The board and officers were elected at RBMA’s annual conference, PaRADigm, held in Hollywood, Florida. Since RBMA’s founding in 1968, members have voted each year to elect an all-volunteer board from among their peers.

Christopher “Kit” Crancer will serve as president, succeeding Shannon Wilson, FRBMA. Crancer is the Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Radiologist Partnerships at RAYUS Radiology, as well as the Executive Director of the RAYUS Quality Institute. With over a decade of experience in legislative policy, Crancer has developed extensive knowledge of the imaging industry and has been instrumental in advancing countless pieces of legislation benefiting patients and providers across the country.

“I’m honored to have been chosen to lead such a tremendously impactful organization,” said Crancer. “In addition to providing outstanding educational programming and continued leadership for the radiology business industry, I’m looking forward to working with this talented board and our members to promote impactful solutions to critical public policy issues. Now more than ever, we must work to end the chronic cycle of devastating cuts to radiology under the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule and ensure our patients have access to high-quality, timely care.”

Shannon Wilson, FRBMA, the Associate Director of Professional Billing Radiology at Mass General Brigham, will continue serving on the board as immediate past president. RBMA’s new president-elect is Pete Moffatt, Senior Vice President of Business Development at ADVOCATE RCM, who has previously served on the board as a director at large.

C. Chad Wiggins, MHSA, LNHA, will continue serving as treasurer. Wiggins is a Senior Vice President at Envision Healthcare.

Stacy Sanso, FRBMA, will also continue serving as board secretary/parliamentarian. Sanso has 18 years of experience as a clinic manager with ARA Diagnostic Imaging, working on the front lines of patient care, and recently stepped into the role of Director of Outpatient Imaging Center Collections.

Joining the board as new directors are Kevin McDermott (Angel Med), Don Miller, CSPPM (Inland Imaging), and Julie Szeker, JD (US Radiology Specialists).

Serving alongside RBMA’s new officers, the remaining 2023-2024 directors include:

• Barbara Perez Deppman, RDMS, MSM, FACHE, FRBMA (Strategic Radiology)

• Jamie Dyer (Central Oregon Radiology Associates)

• Steve Kahn (pHY Consultants)

• Maegan Moore (Essential Radiology)

• And Elaine Lewis, MD, FACR, West Reading Radiology Associates, as the ACR Director.

"As we begin anew the 2022-2023 association year, I’m confident this Board will focus on strategically leading the radiology business industry forward,” said Bob Still, FRBMA, Executive Director of RBMA. “Our volunteer leaders are committed to delivering trusted educational content, one-of-a-kind networking opportunities, and steady representation on the Hill you’ve come to rely on from RBMA.”
