Tidal Love was a good read. Harleigh has gotten out of an abusive relationship. She's getting her life back. Her family sends her on a 6 week vacation. She a strong character but self doubt creeps in sometimes. I liked her. At the hotel in Bulgaria she meets Giovani and his brother Lucca. Giovanni has a past. He's successful business man and owns the hotel. He and Harleigh hit it off and she forms a great friendship with her brother. They both has hold up from the past but the are good together.

Wow this story is one of survival and hope. It highlights that despite the heartache we can face in life we can move forward and find happiness.

But to start at the begining of the story:

Well, the prologue is definitely something more females experience in their life than is known. The subject matter is one that tears families and societies apart and traumatises victims - both woman and children. The author explains this in the prologue in a way that covers this area vastly.

The heroine in the story is Harleigh, a strong female teacher who has had an awful experience with realtionships. Harleigh has two older protective brothers and she is treated to a month long holiday to Bulgaria. The descriptions in this book really make you believe you are right there with Harleigh seeing the sea, sun and tasting the cocktails.

Giovanni has been burnt by his last relationship but when he is greeted by Harleigh at his hotel as a quest they click. Can two damaged people put their past aside or is it deemed for diaster? I don't want to give spoilers away as this book is a beautiful easy read despite the hard hitting prologue and drama that unfolds in the story.

A beautiful well written HEA and a delightful easy read.

Quotes: I only added a few, there was many that touched me but I want the reader to experience them by reading the story for themselves.

'And just to let you know there is absolutely nothing to be scared if when you are around me. I will protect you. Nothing or no one will ever hurt you or upset you when I am around'.

'stop worrying about everyone and just feel this moment'.

'I'll fight the biggest business men, but put someone I care about in a bad way and I'm a chicken hearted bugger with my heart on my sleeve'.

If you want a COVID-19 cleanser to forget the world and just drift in a happy bubble? This is the read for you! A brilliant contemporary romance with triumph over adversity, domestic abuse, and self-esteem.

Harleigh's ex showed his true colours before they got married but she still bears the mental and physical scars. She tried to hide the abuse from her family but she finally escaped and has her life back on track. But it is a lonely life and her family fear that she is closing herself from everyone. So being the large and in charge family that they are they send her off on a surprise holiday to Bulgaria.

She never expected to fall in love with a place and entire town full of people. Especially not a sexy but sweet hotel owner. Or that she's found another brother in HIS brother!

Giovanni has had a rough time in the relationship department too, although his ex was a gold-digging backstabber. But with the work at the hotel, keeping his wayward but lovable brother in line and trying to make his staff and parents happy, Gio put love on the back burner. But a new guest has piqued his interest. He would never mix business with pleasure again but something about Harleigh just has him tied in knots. What starts as a tour around town and being a friendly face to a lonely traveller may just morph into something way more life-changing!

OMG what a great read. When you've been stuck at home during the thing that won't be named, escape to Bulgaria through the author's description of a beautiful country and people. Soak up the history and views and just fall in love with this book. I kept googling pics of places mentioned and I felt like I was there!

My fave line was 'I'll fight the biggest businessmen, but put someone I care about in a bad way and I'm a chicken-hearted bugger with my heart on my sleeve'. Oh, man, I lost it at the line.

This will defo tug the heartstrings and simultaneously make you cry and laugh and cheer on our lead characters! I'm now patiently waiting to see if Gio's brother gets a book too!

Harleigh has been to hell and back, abused by someone who was meant to love her. She takes the brave decision to travel alone on holiday. Rest and recuperation are what she needs now. The last things she expects to find is romance.
Giovani has his own demons and throws himself into his business venture in Bulgaria. His life turns upside down when he meets Harleigh.
Two lost souls, whose worlds collide, find solace in each other’s company. Soon, it becomes more than a holiday fling. Will their new relationship survive, or will something threaten their happiness?
Wow, this book is incredible. Her books just keep on getting better with each one I read. Harleigh and Giovani’s story is beautifully written and deals with some sensitive issues in a compassionate manner.
This book is a must read for lovers of romance, suspense, and exotic locations.

Tidal Love is a story written by an author that is new to me, K.M. Lowe.
It is a story of love, heartache, heartbreak, uncertainty, discovery, acceptance and chemistry. Both souls are broken but their love can heal each other. The author takes a reader on a journey abroad, to a country that has always fascinated and intrigued me. This story did not disappoint. It had highs, lows and everything in between. A thoroughly entertaining read from an author that I will definitely be sampling again in the future. I really engaged well with the characters and the way the story developed. A sure winner in my eyes, 4 stars.

What a great book. Probably my favorite book I’ve read by this author. Maybe it’s because I kind of relate to Harleigh and Gio. Regardless this was an awesome book. Wish it was longer, I’d love to know what happens next for Harleigh and Giovanni!! Would 100% recommend, the characters are well written, the story doesn’t have huge gaps of timeline in it. Great job.

Tidal Love by K.M. Lowe a five-star read that will sweep you away. This was my first read by this author, and I do plan on picking up more as I enjoyed the scene setting so much, I could imagine the sea breeze as I was reading, smell the salt in the air. Harleigh Harrison will pull you in, she has a story to tell and she does it well, her past isn’t a nice one, but with a family like hers she is shows promise for the future. Giovani Russi isn’t always an easy man, but when that moment happens he becomes someone that you want to cheer on, want to see get their HEA, I cant tell you what happens as you need to get there on your own, but don’t miss this story, there were moments it wasn’t a five-star read, but overall it really was.

‘Tidal Love’ by KM Lowe literally took me on an emotional rollercoaster whilst I was reading it. I was hooked from the very first page and found myself totally immersed in the novel until the very last page. The dramatic and overly realistic prologue had me gripped and although I found it uncomfortable to read this was due to the authors wonderfully written, honest and descriptive narrative. I was rooting for Harleigh from then on, knowing what she had been through in her past and this was a book I could not put down.

School teacher Harleigh Harrison is sent on an elaborate holiday to Bulgaria over the Summer by her older brother Gavin in the hope that she can rest and recover from her abusive relationship with ex fiancé Martin. Harleigh is apprehensive about her trip but is also looking forward to some sun, sea, and cocktails. The last thing Harleigh is thinking about is meeting a man but having met Giovani Russi as soon as she enters her hotel she can not deny that the handsome Gio catches her eye. Meanwhile workaholic Giovani is happy running his hotel in Bulgaria, and is busy growing his empire. Having suffered his own heartbreak Gio is now enjoying living the life of luxury and is not interested in relationships until he meets Harleigh and suddenly she is all he can think about. As Harleigh and Giovani spend more time together and get to know each other they realise they are both lost souls with pasts which makes it difficult for them to trust again but they also start to realise what they have both been missing out on, love.

I found this to be a really heartwarming and at times heart breaking read but thanks to the authors wonderful narrative the book was also an easy read which flowed well. The storyline centred around Harleigh and Gio, who were both great characters as they were likeable, realistic and relatable. However the secondary characters such as Harleigh’s brothers, Gavin and Sebastian and Gio’s brother Lucca were all fascinating and added to the story. The plot had plenty of drama and suspense and of course romance with a twist near the end which I had not seen coming. I liked how the couple’s relationship had a ‘slow burn’ element despite their instant mutual attraction and that their chemistry came across in the story.

The story was told from two different point of views, Harleigh and Giovani’s and this made getting to know them a lot easier and by being inside their head it made me feel immersed in the story. The authors amazingly detailed descriptions of Bulgaria also made me feel like I was there. Although the book deals with some darker topics it is done so sensitively and within the context of the storyline. An enjoyable, emotional and engaging five star read which I definitely recommend.

Tidal Love by K.M. Lowe

While K.M. Lowe is a new author to me, her writing style feels like a warm familiar blanket. Tidal Love was a great read filled with engaging characters and a wonderful storyline.

Harleigh Harrison is not the same woman that she used to be. After an abusive relationship, she is now trying to find out who she is again. With the promise of a wonderful town and nightlife, her family sends her off to find herself again. But is the sun, sand, and a few drinks all it will take to get her life back? Or will she discover she is more broken than this holiday trip can fix?

Giovani Russi is finally able to focus on the important things in his life, like his hotel and growing his empire. After overcoming the drama that was his ex and everything that entailed, he was ready to coast on smooth waters. That is until he meets Harleigh. Like his hotel, he can see that this beauty has a story behind her walls. Will he be able to help her heal with the beauty of his town and all it offers?

Ms. Lowe brings the reader two broken people and lets us take part as they learn to overcome their pasts and love again. The ebb and flow of this book was so easy. The gradual unfolding of both Harleigh and Giovanni’s stories to their flourishing relationship, Ms. Lowe makes sure the reader is pulled in and entranced. With great dialogue and subtext, the reader also takes the journey with the characters as they learn how to trust again. Not only themselves but other people in their lives. With Ms. Lowe’s attention to detail and stunning description of the story's location, it surely makes you want to hop a plane to Bulgaria to visit this wondrous place. If you are looking for a book to “fall into” this is definitely one you should pick up.

Tidal Love by K.M. Lowe

I want to give this a thousand stars. I will be looking for more of Lowe's books because...wow. Tidal Love will have you wishing you were in Bulgaria. K.M. Lowe is an amazing author!

Harleigh, Harls as her brother, Lucca, and Gio call her, is trying to climb out of a dark place. Her family is worried and her brother books her a vacation. She goes alone expecting not to like it, but on her first day in town she meets the owner. The quote I chose for Harls is: “I’m not scared of you, Giovani. I’m actually the most relaxed I’ve been in…such a long time. I like spending time with you. I never imagined I’d be here with someone like you. I thought I would have spent my full holiday hiding away at the pool, but you make me excited to start a new day.”

Giovani, Gio as everyone calls him, finds that he is lonely. He doesn't trust women like normal, but someone changes his mind about it quickly. Harls stepped into the hotel and changed his life. The quote I chose for Gio is: “We’re having fun, Harleigh. Do you want to know what I think? I think you’re over-thinking things. What we have going on between us is beautiful. I know how confusing these feelings are because I’ve never felt them before. But why waste time trying to analyse everything? We’re in a beautiful country, enjoying each other’s company. We’re adults, and if something should blossom between us, I think we’re big enough to deal with it. So, what do you say we just go for lunch and have a good time? Whatever happens after that, happens.”

I definitely recommend this for romance lovers!

Tidal Love
By KM Lowe
5 out of 5 stars

I loved reading the book Tidal Love by KM Lowe. It is a beautiful romantic story that touched my heart and had me hooked from the beginning. I loved the characters of Harleigh Harrison and Giovani Russi. Harleigh is a strong and intelligent woman. She has a past that she is trying to overcome. Trying to move forward is what brings her to Bulgaria and in meeting Giovani. Giovani is a successful businessman. He also has a past that has shaped his current life. Then he meets Harleigh. The chemistry between them is off the charts. They both discover feelings that they have not had in a long time. With their past still in the minds will they take a chance with each other? Will they get a HEA? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down the entire time. I grew to care about Harleigh and Giovani with each chapter that I read. I enjoyed reading about the bantering that goes back and forth between them. I also enjoyed reading about other additional characters that interacted and cared about Harleigh and Giovani. The book also has some very romantic scenes that will make the temperature in the room rise. The author has an amazing way of making the story and characters come alive on the pages. Don’t miss out on a romantic and entertaining story that you won’t want to put down until the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

Tidal Love by KM Lowe

5 ++++ Stars

I so completely sincerely loved this book. It had a comfortable flow to it and I hated when it ended. After it ended and I thought about reading I was sad that I couldn't open my kindle and go back into Harleigh’s world. I really can not wait to read this again in the near future.

My heart broke for Harleigh at the beginning of this story, and her family put it back together for me in the love and support they gave her. I was totally invested in this story about the time she arrived in Bulgaria. First I fell in love with the little town she was staying in and felt like I was there with her in the way this author described everything. Giovanni Russi might very well be up there in my favorite male leads… He was simply amazing even with his understandable trust issues. Then Lucca...Sigh...Harleigh was so blessed to meet these 2 and I can't say enough about how these relationships were naturally born. They weren't rushed and felt real in how they progressed both in different ways and for different reasons.

Towards the end as the twists and turns really blew up there were a few scenes that took my breath away and I had tears without even realizing.

I can not recommend everyone picking up this book enough, this was my first read by this author but I promise it will not be the last.

Many thanks to KM Lowe for an amazing story!!

Tidal Love

I would love to give this beautiful story more than 5 stars. It is a full length novel, filled with so much love and heartache.
Harleigh Harrison has just escaped a very abusive relationship. Being close to her family, she tries to get her life back on track. Her heart has been so crushed, her smile never reaches her eyes. Unless of course she is with her students. As her brother gives her a month vacation to Bulgaria, she is hesitant to go. Will she have fun?
Giovani Russian has also been hurt. Diving into his empire, he has no time for women. His heart will remain locked with bars around it. Just to keep himself safe from the hurt he has suffered. His hotel in Bulgaria satisfies his need to keep busy. Can these two people get through their failed relationships and give one more try?

KM Lowe is the author of this wonderfully heart wrenching story, of two people taking chances. You can't help but to fall in love with Harlow and Gioand, let's not forget Lucca, Gio's brother. This is a story of two people taking chances to find happiness and love. Beware! You might want to climb into this story and help. I know I did. So many tears were shed on my part. But so worth reading this book. Just to feel hope is available for all who take control back. No spoilers, just warm hearts. Thank You KM Lowe! Book well done!

Tidal Love was such a good book. Its my first time reading KM Lowe, but I can't wait to read more. I didn't want to put it down- literally... read the entire book within 24 hours. I liked that it was more than just a romance story. The story has its fair share of drama, and each character has a background heartbreaking story. While the story tells about Harleigh and Giovanni, we also learn about their brothers and parents. The story is quite graphic and emotional, and might be a sensitive topic, as it has physical, verbal and sexual abuse. But Harleigh breaks free, and her family sends her on a trip to Bulgaria, so she has time to find herself and relax. The little town is pretty magical and the author does an amazing job of describing it. We experience it along with the characters. Both Giovanni and Harleigh have heartbreak in their past, and make them hesitant to trust and love again. But they have an instant attraction and I loved watching their vacation romance blossom. The end of the book turned out somewhat what I expected, although I wasn't sure of the details. For some it may catch off guard. Highly recommend this book and can't wait to read more by Lowe. Wonderful author!

Tidal Love - a sweet, romance story set in an amazing place, of two people who are trying to find a way to move forward and forget their past.

Harleigh Harrison and Giovani Russi are both broken souls who have been hurt in their past relationships but in different ways. Harleigh didn't know if she'd ever be able to trust a man again and Giovani swore he'd never let another woman in.
Neither was sure they'd be able to move on from the past. But two broken souls may just be able to help each other heal.

When I picked up Tidal Love, I wasn't expecting the story to start out the way it did, but I think that start is what kept me rooting for Harleigh to find her happy. I loved that Harleigh learned how to be her again with the help of Giovani's kindness and Lucca's friendship.
K.M Lowe describes Harleigh's holiday spot in such great detail, it sounds amazing. So amazing that I want to visit Bulgaria myself.
I got lost within the pages of this story.
I brilliant read to take you away from the world.

Tidal Love
by K.M. Lowe

I absolutely loved reading this book. I felt so connected to the characters of Harleigh and Giovani. Harleigh is trying to heal after leaving an abusive relationship and her family thought it would be a good idea to send her on a vacation. Giovani owns the hotel that Harleigh is staying at in Bulgaria. Giovani was hurt by his ex as well and is still healing from that hurt. When these two meet the chemistry is off the charts. Giovani and his brother Lucca are very welcoming and treat Harleigh well. Can these two put their trust issues and past aside and see where their attraction goes? This is a must read if you want to find out. The author does an excellent job making me feel like I was right there on the vacation with her descriptive detail. I could not put this book down until I reached the end because I had become so invested in their story. This is my favorite book by this author so far. This book is full of romance, healing, emotion, trust, family, and more. I highly recommend this book.

I found the Prologue to this story a bit hard going, as Harleigh (27) is in a somewhat toxic/abusive relationship- from then on a year later, she is sent on holiday (as the blurb states) by her older brother Gavin, with the hope that she will move on from her past, and start living again...and when she meets Giovani, there is a spark of attraction between them and a new relationship develops.

Told in DUAL POV's I did enjoy how their story gradually unfolded, both having insecurities from their own pasts, I also liked the character of Giovani's younger brother Lucca, there were some funny moments between them (I wonder if there would be a potential story line so he could get his own HEA at some point) there is some added drama to which I did feel was a bit predictable- with how the story began, and for me, it did feel a wee bit rushed towards the end, however, the Epilogue was sweet.

I just knew I had to read Tidal Love the moment I saw the gorgeous cover! I desperately needed to escape through a book and this one did just that. It swept me away with the love and the emotional roller coaster this takes the reader on. Tidal Love is a contemporary romance, and really it is one of those books you just get completely lost in and forget the world around you.
Harleigh has not had it easy and is just now getting her life resettled after leaving an abusive and toxic ex. Her family sends her on a dream vacation and she ends up meeting her dream man, Giovanni. These two will sweep you away with their stories and emotions that they encounter. I loved the way things unfolded and the way the author kept things realistic. I will definitely be looking for more works by KM Lowe because the bonus of reading this book was she is a new author to me and I now get to discover her other works!

4 Stars!!!!

I just love a sweet little romance that is hidden within a sort of second chance at love storyline. This book was just the best short read for me so far. I love how the author draws the history for the characters. I also like how the main female lead is from a very complex past relationship. This book really highlights that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I really could relate to Harleigh. There were quite a bit more to her situation but her character really is a good example for all who suffer from domestic violence. I like how that author outlined her past so that the reader could really appreciate where she was coming from. I also like how Giovani isn't really that cut and dry either. I like how both characters are complex and they really compliment one another. I was just so glued to the book I could not put it down. I will definitely read more from this author in the future.

I loved this book. It is one of my favorites by this author. The characters are so connectable that they pulled me into their world easily. This is a well developed story that has so much attention to details that I felt I was right there. This is a story about learning to trust and putting the past in the past. Harleigh goes on a vacation to get away from her past. Giovani who has a past of his own is the owner of the hotel which she is staying at. They are both in need of healing and finding themselves. Will they be able to do that together? Will one help the other to heal and learn to trust again? I enjoyed the emotional roller coaster and the heat they bring to the story. I really felt for both of them as they both had been through so much. I enjoyed watching them grow throughout the story. I highly recommend this must read story and this great author.

I love Ms. Lowe’s writing style. She has such an amazing way with words that draw you in and make you feel a part of the book. This is very true with Tidal Love (at least for me that is). In Tidal Love she brings together two people who are dealing with personal issues while trying to move on with their lives. But it’s so much more than just a two lost souls coming together type of read. The book is full of self learning, self healing, finding that one person or piece of your life that was missing and learning how to trust. Trusting themselves as well as trusting others. What I call a truly romantic tale.

I don’t want to spoil the read for anyone so I will simply say this is one phenomenal romance that will suck you into their world and fill your heart to the brim along the way.

Tidal Love by KM Lowe. I loved this book. This is not a light read because the lead character has been thru hell and back. Harleigh's ex was very abusive and trying to put the past behind her has been almost impossible. Going on a vacation is exactly what she needs or so she thinks. Going alone on holiday has never been something Harleigh though she would ever do but she's trying to be brave. Giovanni is trying to get his life back on track after his ex turned into a back stabbing, cheating, witch. Focusing all his attention on his Hotel in Bulgaria he thinks he is getting over her. When he meets Harleigh he sees that's she's been hurt and has a wall up but feels like she might be worth the time it takes to break those walls. Will Harleigh be able to trust and love again or will her past ruin her future? Read Tidal Love to find out!

Tidal Love by KM Lowe is a book I absolutely loved reading. Once I started I couldn’t stop till I finished. I must say I freaking love the cover ! I found myself lost in the pages and I could easily relate with what they both have been through . Giovanni and Harleigh both have pasts . Harleigh is trying to heal after getting out of an abusive relationship , her family convinced her she needed a holiday. Giovanni is trying to heal from his ex hurting him. These two have some serious chemistry between them. I loved the character of Lucca as well. Both Giovanni and Harleigh have trust issues, can they overcome their fears and mistrust?
