In observance of Yom HaZikaron, Israel’s Memorial Day, we will be distributing “Zikaron Packets” to those who would like to observe this day of remembrance in their homes. Each digital “packet” is personalized for an IDF soldier who gave their life in defense of the State of Israel. The soldiers in this project have had a song written about them (or a song written using their own words) and these songs will be distributed, as well as a biography of the soldier.
The Zikaron packets are a program of B’nai Israel Congregation and is powered by The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington’s Community Shlichim Program.
