  • Communications and Development Coordinator

    The ADAH seeks a creative and self-motivated Communications and Development Coordinator to oversee the agency’s public communications, marketing, and development programs. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director for Administration, this person will lead a section comprised of a Development Specialist, Digital Content Producer, Communications and Development Associate, and Museum Store Associate. This a State of Alabama Merit System position.

  • Communications and Development Associate

    Under the direction and supervision of the Communications and Development Coordinator, this position will manage the ADAH’s social media accounts, assist with executing the agency’s marketing and development programs, provide graphic design support, and assist with other special projects and public events. This a State of Alabama Merit System position.

  • Student Workers

    The ADAH hires part-time student workers through contracts with the following local universities and colleges: Alabama State University, Auburn University, AUM, and Troy Montgomery.

    Students help with a variety of projects, including greeting visitors, providing school tours, cataloging artifacts, assisting researchers, scanning historical materials, and general administrative tasks.
