Welcome to my studio, I am Nina – a lifestyle Kent Newborn Photographer.

Whether this is your first baby or you are a growing family, studio newborn shoots provide timeless, natural images of the most precious time in your baby’s life.

Shot in my signature style, featuring no props and a very muted white and grey colour scheme, my newborn sessions are designed to focus on your baby without any elements that could be distracting to the eyes – giving you Wall Art worthy images to take pride of place in your home. 

My light and airy, spacious Kent newborn photography studio is located in my home in Bexley Village DA5 and clients travel from further afield as well as locally. Situated 10-15 minutes from the Dartford Crossing on the M25 and with great links to the A20/M20 & M2 makes this super easy from anywhere in Kent and parts of Essex. Abbey Wood on the new Elizabeth line is a 10 minute cab ride making much more of London an easy journey.

HOW IT WORKS

Sessions are very relaxed and are offered when your baby is between 10-23 days old (there is a little bit of leeway on this, but this is the optimum time for those sleepy shots). I will offer newborn photoshoots up to 12 weeks so get in touch to find out more about shoots past 3 weeks.

These sessions last approximately two hours and will include family photographs and siblings too if applicable.

Once booked, I will schedule a zoom meeting so we can say hello “face to face” ahead of the shoot and I can go through any questions you have and let you know what to expect at your shoot.

The session itself will be totally led by your baby, to capture them in their naturally perfect and pure beauty that will stay in your heart forever.

WHEN TO BOOK

I always encourage parents to book their session during pregnancy, as this gives us plenty of time to prepare for your session.

This also ensures your sessions can take place during the first 3 weeks of baby’s life, which is the best time for newborn photoshoots.

We all know that babies are unpredictable, however, some arrive early and some will be a little late: this is why, when you are ready to book, we will pencil you in for two dates then, when baby has arrived, confirmed the most suitable of those dates for your shoot.

Baby over 3 weeks? Don’t worry.

For babies over 3 weeks, I offer my usual natural style, but these sessions are totally baby-led. For more information on this, please just get in touch using button below.

AFTER THE SESSION: YOUR IMAGES

After your session, I will work on creating your beautiful gallery of edited images.

Approximately 2-4 weeks after the session, I will welcome you back to the studio for your viewing appointment. I pride myself on offering a strict no hard sales policy: I want you to love the entire process and leave the studio with images you absolutely adore.

FAQS

• • My home studio is a relaxed space, decorated in white tones to suit my photography style. A relaxed space with chilled music, coffee, and a sofa to sit on and watch the photoshoot take place. Some shoots require more parental participation than others! but the feel is relaxed and informal.
  • Do you offer family studio shoots? During all studio shoots, I like to take the oppotunity to capture you as a family, in some, this is more involved than others. Newborn shoots I always like to get both parents to have a few shots taken with their baby. I do not offer full family shoots in my studio, unless the children are young, under 8’s as a general rule, and these shoots will focus on the children more than the whole family.  For families with older children, I shoot outdoors or in my client’s homes, please see my family page for more details.
  • What if someone is ill on the day? As a mum myself, I know how little ones can suddenly become unwell. Please just let me know as soon as possible and we will reschedule your shoot
  • What should we wear? For all my shoots I have a series of shoot guides that include a paragraph on what to wear. What you wear makes a big difference to your shoot so clients find this advice super helpful.
