Eagle's Nest Family Newsletter
Week of November 2, 2020
Don't forget: No School on Tuesday, November 3. If you haven't be sure you vote!
If your child is remote and you have not picked up their materials for this quarter, please come to the school any day between 8 AM and 4 PM to get their materials.
Thank you for screening your student(s) every morning before school.
Car Rider Drop Off and Pick Up
Thanks for helping us keep everyone safe by traveling north on Columbia in front of the school for drop off and pick up. Pick up goes much more quickly if you have your number displayed on the dashboard of the passenger seat. If you need a new or additional number, let someone in a safety vest know. We begin calling students at 3:50 PM and our goal is to have every car gone by 4:10 PM.
If you find yourself waiting 10 minutes or more, encourage your child to walk with purpose from their classroom to the front entrance so that you don't have to wait as long.
Thanks for your patience and for helping everyone stay safe.
One Book One School: Wishtree
We hope you are enjoying reading Wishtree by Katherine Applegate as much as we are. Your students are working on Wishtree activities at school. If you get busy reading and finish the book, don't give away the ending. We will publish dates for virtual book clubs soon.
