Good Afternoon Barnard Families,
Stay warm and safe this weekend!
Our Expanded Hybrid and Reopening Plans Have Changed
We are all hopeful that over the next few weeks we will be able to revisit our plans for an expanded hybrid learning model followed by a full reopening in the weeks after that.
Valentines Day During the Pandemic
With the 100th day of school, St. Patrick's Day, and a multitude of other traditional celebration days just around the corner, we will continue to follow the same strict approach to health and safety in the hopes that next year we can return to established school traditions.

Mask Breaks and Cold Winter Weather
The bottom line is this, we need your help to ensure that your child dresses for success; warm layers for the classroom as well as gloves/mittens, hats, and winter coats for outdoor mask breaks. Please reach out to the Family Resource Center if you need help equipping your child with any of these items. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always willing to support our families with whatever you may need. (860) 253-5144
Tech Issues? No Problem!
edtechhelp@enfieldschools.org for assistance. One common issue that several families have run into is when the iPad hasn't updated. Updates generally occur overnight when the iPad is plugged in for charging and is still connected to WiFi. If the unit only gets charged during the day or is disconnected from WiFi at night, you will have to update the iPad manually.
