Reminder: Yale Health is different organization than Yale New Haven Health / Yale Medicine
Many Yale Health members recently received an unsolicited email from Yale New Haven Health (email address info@m.ynhhs.org) regarding their North Haven walk-in center, offering care for sports injuries, etc. (below is an image of the email). This did NOT come from Yale Health and our members members need an approved referral to use that location.
Several members have reported this email to us citing their confusion about the content. We apologize for this and have reached out to our counterparts at YNHH to discuss their future marketing efforts which may target our members.
As a reminder, Yale New Haven Health (YNHH) is the nonprofit healthcare system that is the home of Yale New Haven Hospital, and several other institutions around the state. Yale Health patients may be referred to emergency care at YNHH main campus, YNHH St. Raphael campus, or YNHH Shoreline Medical in Guilford. The affiliated Bridgeport, Greenwich, and Lawrence + Memorial Hospitals are considered out-of-network for Yale Health members.
