Fall Conference 2023. Topics include hazardous lands – geologic issues, flood plains and other limitations on safe development. How Utah can plan for growth in light of the major adjustments in the real estate marketplace, the Sackett v. EPA case, featuring Frank Garrison of the Pacific Legal Foundation, which limited the federal role in wetlands regulation; the Hows of Housing Affordability; financing infrastructure; accessory dwelling units; how local fees are to be calculated; status of the home building industry and new challenges with redevelopment of existing uses into new ones.
