Solicitation Description:
SCOPE: In accordance with the provisions of Texas Government Code §2156.063, Solicitation of Bids, Texas Government Code §2165.001, Custodianship of State Property and the Rules and Procedures adopted by the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC), TFC is seeking bids for the pumping and disposal of materials from grease traps at ten (10) facilities in Austin, TX. This contract is contingent upon the continued availability of funding. If funds become unavailable through lack of appropriations, legislative budget cuts, amendment of the Appropriations Act, state agency consolidations, or any other disruption of current appropriations, provisions of the Termination Article in the Services Contract shall apply. STATEMENT OF WORK: • Contractor shall pump out and dispose of materials from the grease traps as listed below. Frequency of the number of pump outs is listed unless otherwise directed by the Contract Administrator; however, no grease trap shall exceed three months between pump outs. The Contract Administrator will determine the pumping schedule. • Contract Manager will email contractor 7 – 10 days prior to scheduled date for pumping out traps to confirm schedule. Contractor to reply by email to acknowledge. Driver must call Operations one (1) hour before arrival. Operations Phone # (512) 463-3577. • Contractor must notify Contract Administrator if grease and solids accumulation exceed 50% or more of the wetted height of the grease trap at the start of the scheduled pump out. • Additional pump outs may be scheduled on a more frequent basis for these locations. Any requested additional pump outs shall be billed at the per pump price below. • Occasionally, a grease trap may require a pressure cleaning to remove excessive build-up. When needed, the Contract Administrator may request a quote for pressure cleaning of a grease trap. Upon acceptance of quote, a Purchase Order Change Notice will be issued for the additional cleaning services Schedule of Events: Issue of IFB July 26, 2021 Deadline for questions August 4, 2021, 5:00 PM New Bids due date and time August 18, 3:00 PM Service Term start date September 1, 2021
