A MESSAGE FROM OUR DIRECTORS

Please save the date of Saturday, November 2nd for our 27th Annual Rochester Children's Book Festival at Monroe Community College. This fun, free celebration of literacy and learning will take place from 10:00-4:00, with presentations for all ages in three different rooms every half hour. Our craft room will keep your kids entertained making book-related crafts. Best of all, your family can interact with around 50 authors and illustrators as they sign books for purchase.

New and Gently Used Book Drive!

Altrusa International of Rochester will be collecting new and gently used children’s books on Festival Day.

 

Altrusa works closely with Librarians in our city schools to provide as many books as possible for the school Libraries.

 

Please look for our table and take a few minutes to learn more about our many local community projects.

*All presentations by authors and illustrators will be ASL interpreted by students from RIT/NTID providing pro-bono services for their Practicum*
