IEEE Shreveport Section Presents "Requirements for Becoming a Professional Engineer"
The presentation will discuss the opportunities available for Engineering Technology graduates to pursue licensure, emphasizing the benefits and the NCEES requirements involved. Additionally, the speaker will share his own experience of becoming a licensed professional engineer across 10 states nationwide.

NCEES and State Licensing Board Requirements for becoming a Professional Engineer
Biography:
Steve Lindsey is an Electrical & Instrumentation Group Lead Engineer at Hunt, Guillot & Associates, LLC. He is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. He is a professional engineer originally licensed in the state of Louisiana and currently licensed in nine other states. He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a member of the Louisiana Engineering Society.
