Montana’s Next Generation Conference 2024, Saturday, January 27th

Save the Date – Montana’s Next Generation Conference is on the calendar for Saturday, Jan. 27 – Shelby, MT

The Montana’s Next Generation Conference is planning to be back up live and in-person for 2024 with an education packed line-up on Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Shelby High School.

The day will kick off with registration at 8 am and opening sessions at 8:30. Online registration will be required by Monday, January 22 for the conference and registration is now available. The day will feature speakers from across Montana on topics that relate to producers of all ages and experience levels. From financial recordkeeping, succession planning, livestock and crop production topics, there will be something for everyone.

Keynote speaker, Clint Fischer will lead the charge with three workshops designed to meet producers where they are at in the succession planning process.

From there producers will find some of their favorite speakers from years past with latest topics in marketing along with production agriculture and financial management along with new speakers on agritourism, labor solutions, rural housing in Montana, Livestock Revenue Protection and PRF Insurance.

The conference will satisfy Farm Service Agency (FSA)’s requirements for production and financial management training. Pesticide points will be available for selected classes as well and announced prior to the conference.
