Knoxville PA Program

Welcome

Congratulations on your choice to pursue a career as Physician Assistant (PA), consistently ranked by U.S. News & World Report as a top career in health care. PAs are in demand. With an average median annual wage of over $100,000 and the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics projecting the PA profession will grow much faster than the average for all occupations, this career provides a great return on investment.

This 115-credit hour, 27-month curriculum includes a blend of learning activities that provides a solid foundation in primary care medicine. With three semesters of human cadaver anatomy and up to 20 weeks of clinical experience in surgical disciplines, the curriculum prepares graduates to provide safe and effective care to patients in surgical and acute care settings.
