When children die, the grief is intense. Parents grieve because they have lost the future. They must bury all their hopes and dreams with their child. It doesn't seem fair and as friends and family we feel helpless. The difficult process of resolving grief is still ahead for this couple. Stand by them and above all, be a good listener. Encourage them to express their deepest emotions. The door to the human heart can only be opened from the inside.
