Where fun and games meet genes and brains!

Some children have lots of energy and are always on the go, while others are happy sitting in front of the TV or reading a book; some kids are shy and others are outgoing. Why do kids differ so much in their temperaments? Is it because of their genes? Their environments? Or some combination of the two? These questions are the major focus of the Boston University Twin Project (BUTP), where young twins help us understand the genetic and environmental factors that influence children’s temperaments and related behaviors.
