    All contractors pay unemployment insurance (UI) taxes. CO went from a $1B surplus to a $1B deficit in the UI Trust Fund in the pandemic (through no fault of business). Now rates are set to rise by over $100 per employee. But AGC has led the effort to craft state senate bill SB22-234 which will pay $600M in COVID funds against the $1B deficit and get the fund above a zero balance by Nov 2022 (avoiding the big rate increase). Use the form below to ask your elected representatives to Vote Yes on SB22-234.
