Nathan Hale Sports Boosters is looking to fill 3 critical roles for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. We are an all-volunteer run organization supporting athletes. If you are a parent of an athlete and want to be more involved, descriptions are below:

President: President role involves running monthly evening zoom booster meetings from August through June following agendas from previous years and input from Athletic Director and Committee Chairs. Oversight and approval of any requests from Booster Treasurer and board. Manage contact lists for Booster Reps, Coaches and Admin to ensure monthly meeting notifications are delivered to the right reps. Important role but fairly contained task makes it a perfect role for someone who is organized and able to manage google drive, documents, and host meetings. Questions? archana.saikat@gmail.com

Secretary: The secretary’s role involves attending all meetings and taking notes on the topics discussed. From these notes, the official minutes for the meeting are created. The minutes include a roll of people in attendance, summary of the topics and discussion, as well as the results of any vote taken by the members. Questions? Gregory44@msn.com

Fundraising Rep: The Fundraising Support volunteer’s primary role is to monitor the booster’s GiveButter ‘Giving Hub’ webpages and to connect booster reps and coaches to their team’s individual fundraising page.  This volunteer may also connect the Booster Reps & Coaches to several of the fundraising companies (snapchat or vnn) that support Hale. Questions?  NHSBTreasurer@gmail.com

Instructions:

Procedures for Early Dismissal– Students who need to leave early should bring their parental note (which should include your signature and phone number) to the Attendance office upon arrival at school.  Parent’s needing to retrieve their students for an appt. should call the Attendance office at 206-252-3684 or email the Attendance office directly at halehs.attendance@seattleschools.org as soon as possible.  Since the Attendance office Secretary is usually at lunch from 1-2pm, retrieving students at the end of the day is not always successful and can be chaotic.  Calling early in the morning or as soon as you know that student needs to leave, yields the most accurate service.
